    Let me remind you, 4 years ago, and an extra 5 minutes, the Panthers would've run down my beloved Storm⚡, and this would've been their 4th Premiership! I hate to say it, but I totally agree, this is the best Team of the Modern Era!!! Best Team won, but I think the new Rivalry of these 2 Teams have begun... Congrats Panthers!🐆

    I thought Crichton was a contender for Man of the match … strong for 80 minutes but I get the Cleary decision. One thing that might have gone unnoticed because of other things Nathan Cleary did was in the 64th minute when 10 points adrift, he attempted and was successful in kicking a 40/20 on the THIRD tackle. Who has the balls to take that risk in that situation? A champion does. 3 minutes after the kick Crichton scores to make it 24-20. BTW who gave the final pass to put Crichton over? Cleary. Oh and then he bangs over the conversation from wide out.

      Also when Cleary scored his premiership winning try, not many noticed sorenson ran through the line and when Cleary stepped back on the inside sorenson sprinted back towards the Penrith goal line to prevent any obstruction which Walsh 100% would of done. The brains all through that Penrith squad is immense

    This is the best team of the modern era by far. To think how young alot of these star players are, and how many more impactful years their foward pack still has left in the tank and lets not forget the halves and how many more years of domination they could produce, i think its fair to say the debate is over. Also, is it to early to put Nathan Cleary in the conversation of the greatest half back? Like is it actually? State of origin champion, 3 premierships back to back like lets be real, hes the goat at 25 years old!

      The Melbourne Storm have been a 25 year dynasty! The Melbourne Storm don't even miss the finals.
      Fair enough the Panthers deserve credit for three years.. although they would have lost the 2021 year too Nelson Got a try taken off him...
      I have watched it enough to know that reff blunder cost the preliminary final for the Storm! Talk about the Storm cheating! When all clubs do it...and the incompetent reffs!

    • @AlphaKingz4114
      @AlphaKingz4114 11 месяцев назад

      @R-vl9ue yeah but the whole cheating the salary cap thing, having a title taken away because of it definitely puts a massive cloud over there greatness like lets be real. What's so great about the Panthers is that, just like craig bellamy and the storm, it started way back when they decided to pump up there junior footy all them years ago and put there dollars into developing there own stars. Now it seams we are at the point where due to their success and everybody's trade/market value going up, players are now in the position to having to either sacrifice to stay amongst it or move on and take the money. Let's hope they dont do a "Melbourne storm" and cheat there way out of it

      I understand what Ur saying and to a degree it's fair to say he didn't have the best game, but the whole team was gassed, players were making errors, missing tackles, repeat sets..
      Ultimately some responsibility is his as captain to own but without his presence over the last 24 months we aren't even close to making a gf imo.

  • @homestarronny
    @homestarronny Год назад +2

    at half time I was telling anyone that would listen, this is a BAD scoreline for the Panthers. with their dominance, they should have been ahead by more. But in the end they were fine, and an absolute classic grand final it was, but the Panthers EASILY could have lost that one. Even something little like Reece Walsh making no effort to get back into the field of play after Turuva hit him and kind of rolled over. Walsh laid there and Crichton came and finished the job off and only just got him into the in goal. If Walsh was smarter he could have at the very least rolled further upfield and broncos probably go on to win.

Go over the past 2 years of Rugby League games and see if you can find 1 game where in 80 minutes there was only 1 ruck infringement penalty of 6 again given? Good luck you'll need it! Penrith players were offside most of the game ( no penalties) attempted crusher ( no penalty) high shots ( no penalty) forward pass led to the Leota try (no penalty) and yet the Panthers get a penalty given to them for a ruck infringement with 4 minutes to go 5 metres out from the Broncos try line and 4 points behind on the scoreboard!
