the first thing i thought when i started listening to ateez was that they somehow manage to use the most cliché elements while also making it sound really good, fresh and innovative. i think pd (formoftherapy) said something about ateez using the musical tropes they hate the most but in a way that doesn't make them hate those tropes (in an album reaction video i think). it's actually pretty genious to make music that's wild and experimental while simultaneously using elements that literally everyone is familiar with. people don't give their producers nearly enough credit for that.
Idk but Owen was so precious when he started talking about his pirate musical he did in school 🥺 I think he might be my favourite among the new reactors, even tho I've only watched a couple reactions with him so far.

Ateez caught my eyes since that Halloween Special Mcountdown stage, and I really like the song but at the same time scared(?) of them XD but I'm totally falling for them, can already imagine how glorious this song being performed on year-end award shows p/s finally this is war-mblaq next~!! been waiting for it heh
they are just so badass XD eventhough they are actually really sweet cute babies :o but yes, their music and performances can go dark, and you mention being scared, but I think it's scared in a good way? right? their halloween stage was AWESOME btw, great facial expressions, great way to incorporate the halloween theme ugh! - btw, they had a summer comeback, those songs are more light, summery, sweet than the other albums, also shows their diversity

Sunrise is actually written by the leader :) I can also recommend aurora, hala hala, pirate king, WIN (actually all of their songs haha) + I like illusion a bit more than wave I think (and I don't blame you for not getting into them yet. I am kinda the same with other groups now also because I don't have all the time in the world)

Marching band is also a huge thing in my school. They are like the elites, cheerleader comes next. That one year when we had a drum major tbag can play literally any instrument, got everyone crazy about her. She's like everyone's crush.
