yoji is awesome he played in my city biggest nightclub dance academy around the same time, i remember him stopping the turntables mid set just to talk to a fan he couldn't hear :), he even acknowledge my 'moves' on the dancefloor by imitating me lol, made my night! i think i still got a flyer put away somewhere around here with his signature on :) he appreciated his fans, i will always remember that rave for these reasons, cheers yoji
When raves where about the music. Now they are about whos wears less clothes with fishnets. Legend was in the making with this set. Still my fav hard trance set of all time.
8:11, hes putting CD in for another set. only difference to these days is that now its in USB, and you do not have to change CD every 60min. Also music is MUCH more complicated now, that technology is advanced.
its very rare you see a DJ hold such a massive audience under a trance/spell. look at the crowd folks, everyone is under the spell he cast, one of the best sets I have ever seen in my life.
@@joeyd9280 what's weird is, is how the dope has changed. Back in 2001 we usually got pills maxing between the 125-160 milligram...which where tough bastards to push into your face. Just got some last week... The smaller ones are 230 milligrams...the regular ones are a whopping 330 milligrams. It's absolutely mind boggling... literally and figuratively.
I think the Yoji Biomehanika & Romeo Toscani Remix is better. Anyway, this looks like fun. I wish Yoji would come to Chicago and spin @ Vision. He would kick some ass there!! Oh well. I still have his Essential Mix from 2005.
I have no idea why people separating an (Yoji Biomehanika Mix) and (Original Mix) .. I have one interesting message for you guys : ... Theese Mixes are completly same.... just sayin'
@miezensau I agree these girls don't dance to the music. These ladies are actually students from the local dance academy who do this as their extra job to pay for their tuition. The problem with them is that they're very good at modern dance and what not, but don't necessarily like the music. They're just their because they look good, not because they understand what the music is all about, and I believe that that's what your missing: that raw blackness!
@ 1:20 yoji was point at the idiot with his phone out while history was being made  This is probably the most amazing moment during the whole night !
There's no fudging mixing going on there, the mix happens around 7:05 - 7:45 The rest is full of him pretending to tweak stuff, doing not a lot and the occasional dance.
Listening in 2024! this set will never get old
This set is something different at that time and still today is. Happy to have seen Yoji live and will never forget🥳
Hello, this is a 40 year old from 2020 ... getting shivers remembering a kid in his 20's rushing off his nut to Yoji and LAB4 back in the day.
I'm 35 remembering a 20 year old seeing yoji at kryal castle off my face on pingers and a mushie cap best night.... Haha
you lucky u grew up in Holland

@@tonee3943 fuuuuck man. One of my favourite artists playing so close to home sounds out of this world. I was born in 1998. 18 years too soon man..
And people were dancing and enjoying the music. Nobody was recording with mobile phone.
90s !
Just idiots record everything If you i want watch i turn on yt video from party
You got damm right!
If mobile phones were as accessible and cheap as now, they would've most likely be recording.
To many es to record
Such a shame I was still 8 years old then, so much better to what you find in most parties today
You should check out Defcon 1.
same man
people used to go crazy at this stuff
After 12 years... music was better in 90' and early 00'... :x
Odd. My dad says the same thing about the music in the 70's.

This set never gets old, yoji was/is awesome.
His crazy hair and face masks beat the girls of dubstep and their half shaved heads.
