The song was written by her friend, Jonghyun, another very popular K-Pop singer. Sadly, he was battling his own demons and committed suicide in 2017. The song is about how we all struggle to breathe at times due to different challenges one has to face in their life each day. **For reference, in So Hyang's 'Day Day' video, Lee Hi is the young lady in the red top/overalls, singing next to So Hyang.
It is ridiculous how great So Hyang is! There is just no one else like her.
