When I was 30 years old a girl, I was 9 years older than Boy and i really got into him and his music. He changed my life for years. i would dress like him and go to clubs and i made him a boy George doll which was sent to his home in England. i lived in the USA. I then met him on a talk show and he told me how much he liked my doll.
Beautiful interview!Boy George is the great artist singer, loved and admired around the world forever, great voice, great music and charm apart!🙏🌟🎶👑🌈🎩🇷🇴🌍❤
I once dressed up as Boy George and sang at a charity event when I was a kid. I love Boy George, he's intelligent, entertaining and has a fabulous voice.❤❤❤
I’m a straight, hard rock/metal guy and I have no hesitation to say that I am a big fan of Boy George. I will also go on the record to say that “Life” is one the best albums he ever made.
When "Kissing to be Clever" came out in 1982, I was hooked. I still love Culture Club and listen to them all the time. I was fortunate to finally see them in person in Ohio in August of 2023. It was an amazing experience that I'll always cherish and never forget!!!!
Excellent! I watched it twice. I appreciate you sharing this video and it is appreciated. I like how Boy George is now as a person. I liked always cheering him on and his many looks over the years. He has matured and has remained popular all these years and still working hard. He is going on tour again in the United States this year. Thank you for this video.
One of the best open honest interviews I have ever seen. Loved Culture Club since ever. I jumped a bus from rural Australia to go see them for the first ever concert in Sydney. My mother was furious. But she still has the photo's. Thank you.
Very intelligent interview. I’m a recovering alcoholic. I identify with the feeling expressed by George. I’m a painter and a playwright; but in my addiction, I was out of control with myself. I was dreaming, but not doing!😊
Excellent interview 👏 👌 👍. I have always been a Boy George Fan. I was born in 1981, and loved Culture Club as a small child age 3 back in 1983, thanks to MTV. Boy Geroge was so underrated and his talents and harmonica playing were wonderful. His songs beautiful. He made a ((true statement with his style long black hair, his beautiful baby blue eyes, top hat, shades, long coat and Hermonica)) he also ware make up like I said making a big but true statement for some individuals back in the 1980s, a time where it was still looked heavily down upon still ((bravery)). We must remember Love ❤ is Love and acceptance is key. Let ppl just live their lives?? 🤔 💭 What a beautiful man?? 🤔💭 ...First, celebrity crushes always mean a lot even through Boy George swings for the opposite team. I found it very interesting 🤔 💭 that Boy George once had a gf very interesting?? 🤔 💭 Once again thanks for sharing great interview.
I always loved Boy George! I was lucky enough to see him in the 80s in concert with culture club and it was a phenomenal experience. I think he is a beautiful person and I always admired the way He dressed, his makeup artistry and of course, his sultry voice! I’m so glad that he made it out of the Mire of drug usage. May God bless him and keep him creating more beautiful music! ❤🙏
I'm 62 and I remember when he appeared on the music scene and I liked his music, the way he dressed etc. I also remember that me and my freinds (we're all straight) didn't care about what his sexual orientation was and that it wasn't our business. I like to think that my generation in the 80's really sped up acceptance of the LGBTQ+ community and it's worrisome that tolerance seems to be going in the wrong direction.
So funny I love David Bowie my bedroom was covered in Bowie pics my stepfather used to say get them pics off the walls I don’t that puff looking at me I’ve just decorated lol I never listened my pocket money was used to buy Bowie albums when I came in from school I would lie down and zone out to his music I was 11 years old I also loved your music my mum brought all your hits on 7inch
When I was in 4th grade Do You Really Want to Hurt Me came out, and the rumor was that he was a woman named Christina. Lol we didn’t have internet to fact check!
ive said this in another video before but ill say it again.in the early 80s i was a straight kid in the part of america i lived.i had a poster of culture club on my wall.before musical groups that came from the new romantics and the goth culture that just wouldnt have been seen or considered ok before that time period.
I could listen to him for hours. I admire him for remembering where he came from but never looking back.
Fan since 83 and still in the culture club!
I was 2 years old at 83, and even then I was also a fan, and I think I will be for the rest of my life
Justo like me. I was 13 in 1982 ( when my worship began)
Im more a Culture Club fan than Boy George solo career. And also Jesús Loves You.
Maravilhoso ❤🎩😍💯
Me too nik. I'm just as much a fan today as I was in 83. Someday I will be in a nursing home somewhere rockin to Culture Club.
BOY GEORGE looks gorgeous.

Huge fan and when everyone was in love with Michael Jackson which I couldn't stand I instead loved boy G.
Boy George looks like his mum.
I wish they would have focused on what's happening now. We all know these stories already.
