What''s great about Ahoy is that I can listen to this out loud when I'm supposed to be doing homework, and my parents think it's an actual history lesson because of Ahoy's voice XD
My guess on the next few puns by XboxAhoy: Scar-L: "This gun will definitely leave your enemy, with a SCAR. CM901: "The CM901 will leave your enemy calling 9 ONE 1."
For those who don’t know: “To keep the barrel cool the PKP features a forced air cooling system that is very rare in modern designs. It is the one most famously employed in the World War I Lewis Gun. The PKP barrel itself is also much heavier than the PKM and features cooling ribs, adding to a two pound heavier overall weight.”
I remember the time the entire other team used this thing traveled in one pack and only hip fired. Everyone but me and one teammate rage quit. We lost 13 to 75.
That's because the operating system of the PGP is similar to that of the AK but is upside down, the gas piston is under the barrel and ejects from the left side of the weapon.
ubiquitous! great piece of vocab Stu! Latin root 'ubique' meaning 'everywhere'. Learned the term back in Latin lessons and it has since been one of my favourite obscure words. You sir are quite the wordsmith, props for working that one into the vid, nice touch!
PKP being an LMG, I figured it would be up there as one of the heaviest weapons in the game, but the AS50 of the last video was 14.1kg...the PKP is only 8.7... Either the PKP is deceptively light for an LMG, or that AMR needs to go on a diet. I mean _Jesus_ that's a heavy rifle.
The light in light machine gun normally goes towards the calibre or use...if you use a smaller round or use it as an infantry weapon it´s light or medium ^^
Well technically, he's not completely wrong. The PK uses a very similar bolt, gas piston, and fire control unit to the AK, albeit using a larger caliber and belt-fed capability. Though it isn't a completely related "upgrade", it is very similar to the AK in mechanical aspects.
Keep up the good work, Stuart! I've watched all of your weapon guide videos so far, and plan to watch all of the rest, plus the ones for Black Ops 2 when you start making them
A little note on the bipod- in the next modernisation they actualy want to move the bipod away from the muzzle, kind of like it was on PKM. Reason being- on PKM its position made it a de facto foregrip, being nice and sturdy, and reason 2 is that to fire downwards, when the bipod is deployed, you have to raise the whole gun, which requires a shooter to stand upright, exposing him.
whats up xboxahoy i just wanted to say i love your vids the production quality is very high and its obvious you put a lot of time and work into them :]
The FN P90 was made in Belgium but has German roots. The key reason why it's the next weapon is due to the fact that not the P90 was one of the first bullpup SMG's, but the weapon itself was designed to hold a unique round that combines the lightness of an SMG round, but the punch of a rifle, the 5.7x28mm.
P90 is manufactured by FN (Belgian). Its the MP7 with its unique 4.6x30mm cartridge. Its also a PDW weapon. 9x19mm Parabellum (MP5) and .45ACP (UMP45) have weapon guides although Stuart did the weapon guides for the MP5K.
It is already in the game. You can pick it up in the campaign mode, so it might be plausible that they could add it to the create a class menu for online.
The MP7 is a sub-machine gun but was made to be a PDW, the G36c on the other hand is an assault rifle that is still German origin but is used and was made for military uses.
Hey Stu, which weapon guide series did you find easier to produce? The Black Ops guides for RUclips, or the MW3 guides for Elite? It seems like the Black Ops guides would be easier since you didn't have to level up a weapon to get the attachments you wanted, but then again the MW3 guides were shorter overall. Wouldn't you agree?
I like how some of the guns in MW3 are also in BF3. Although I don't have MW3 (it's a good game, I just didn't buy it), I like Stuart's videos, especially when he does an episode on a gun in both games. His videos make me want to go and use that weapon in- game immediately.
No. It's the MP7. It is a personal defense weapon that chambers 4.6×30mm rounds, ones that are quite uncommon. The P99 isn't really classified as a PDW, and it chambers the common 9x19mm cartridge.
MP5 was basically covered in MW2 along with the UMP.45. So yes, it's the MP7. Also he said diminutive cartridge, and the MP7 fires the HK 4.6x30mm round.
i noticed something. most other shooters with a PKM/PKP depict it with the belt and charging handle on the right of the gun. only MW3 has the belt and charging handle on the left
Love the videos but what happen to the part where u suggested perks & attachments? That was my favorite part of ur videos. Thx again for the hard work.
You're right. The 4.6x30mm round is fairly special; the MP5 fires the 9x19 Parabellum round and the UMP45 fires the .45ACP round. These rounds are not as unique as they are found in many weapons.
MP5 and the UMP45 are both submachine guns. They fire pistol calibre rounds. A PDW however, fires a scaled down rifle cardridge in a compact package. The P90 and the MP7 are good examples.
Stuart I've heard rumors of a possible new gun (the ak-74u to be precise) that may be released, seeing as you have worked with and produced weapon guides for mw3 and Activision i was wondering if you might have any info regarding this at all...id love this rumor to be true but....I'm not holding my breath... thanks, and keep doing what your doing!
The p90 is a pdw too, but the p90 is not a German weapon. The p90 is a Belgium weapon made FN Herstal. The MP7 is a German pdw made by H&K which will be featured in the next episode of Weapons of Modern Warfare. :)
Nope. He even said on his AhoyXbox channel that it will be the MP7, that he's focused on the new weapons in the CoD series, and that WMW will be ending soon so he can focus more on finishing the Blops series before BO2's release.
Hey Stu, I was wondering how you would do the Black Ops II weapon guides? Most of the guns are probably based off modern day weapons, but some might not be. Are you going to get information on them from what they are based off of? Thanks for all your hard work too! =)
The MP5 has been in all of the Call Of Duty`s since CoD 4 (except WaW) Stuart says he is doing new weapons so the MP7 is next. The MP7 is made by Heckler and Koch, a German Company.
Either Ump .45 which uses the .45 ACP round ( less likely because hes done it before ) or the mp7 which fire a special caliber but is made by hekkler and coch
Hey Stuart, Considering that a new CoD comes out every year, does this mean that some TTK episodes will be redone (if needed be)? By the way, I'd love to see you do some Borderlands Weapon Guides, ha ha.
Since we already have the Weapons of Modern Warfare for our gun history, I feel that having Behind the Lines focusing on guns as well is a little redundant, making it feel like little more than an extended Weapons of Modern Warfare. Perhaps Behind the Lines could be geared more towards things such as vehicles and military groups (e.g. the SAS or Spetsnaz). Since there are more weapons, Weapons of Modern Warfare would be better suited to covering them because of its shorter length.
The next one is the H&K MP7. I'll explain unlike everyone else, the two other German PDW's are the MP5 and UMP45, firing 9x19 Parabellum and .45 ACP, no "diminutive" calibers like the 4.6x30 which the MP7 is chambered for.
Outside of recoil they both seem to preform the same to me, it's just that the iron sights on BF3's rendition are horrible, but then again it's not really a problem after unlocking other sights, it's just that most machine guns in BF3 have good, moderately open iron sights.
Hey Stuart, you seem to have your plate full of projects (Weapons of Modern Warfare, Black Ops Weapon Guides, Time To Kill, Beverage Guide Express, etc.) so have you ever considered bringing in outside help like an intern or something?
No sir , the pecheneg in MW3 is the First model , the model as you seen in BF3 or real life is the late model with belt fed from the right side , i hope you find my information is useful :)
Stu, if you had to choose between the Vector from MW2 & the MP7 from MW3 as a weapon in the game, which would you prefer? But IRL, which would be your go to PDW?
What''s great about Ahoy is that I can listen to this out loud when I'm supposed to be doing homework, and my parents think it's an actual history lesson because of Ahoy's voice XD
Dynamic_ when I did my parents thought I was about to shoot up the school.
ZackTheLad Tv that might be more on how your parents view you as a person. 😂😂😂
well it is history-ish
ZackTheLad Tv all the other kids with the pumped up kicks better run better run faster then a bullet
@Viscous Force maybe they don't know COD gun sounds... it's a lesson on a war ;)
Pecheneg is actually a Turkic tribe who roamed Ukraine, Balkans and Pontic Steppe, originally an Oghuz Turkic tribe from Central Asia.
Can we agree this gun has the most violent and brutal yet very satisfying sound every time it fires?
Yes, I always used this thing back in the day. Very satisfying to fire, sounds like a cannon.
My guess on the next few puns by XboxAhoy:
Scar-L: "This gun will definitely leave your enemy, with a SCAR.
CM901: "The CM901 will leave your enemy calling 9 ONE 1."
10 years later, the same soothing but masculine voice. amazing work.
Interestingly the PKP's cooling system is based off the Lewis Gun.
BS
basically all open bolt gun use that principle.
@@secundus6457 He’s telling the truth. It’s a forced air cooling system. Same as on the Lewis Gun.
Good times! :D
Haha 4 years later something similiar happened to me in MW2019
And now the PKP Pecheneg is back in MWIII was the Pulemyot 762.
Funny how history tends to repeat itself.
I think the creators made it feed from the left in game to simplify reload animations.
They do that a lot in games: disregard real life traits to make them fit better in games.
Lol the real PKP Pecheneg feeds from the right and ejects from the left.
bigge1495 Indeed, and have actually checked. Doesn't seem ambidextrous to me(I know a dual-feeding HMG made by the Singapore).
That's because the operating system of the PGP is similar to that of the AK but is upside down, the gas piston is under the barrel and ejects from the left side of the weapon.
I call it the Pikachu
because it shocks your enemy?
Damn this is old
Mars Lu this is even older now
Now it's even more older!
Because Pi Ka Pi
I read it always like PKP Pencheng :D
I used 2 call this PKP Pecheng earlier🤣🤣🤣
i thought it was PKP perching...
Best LMG in the game. One of the few weapons that work great with ACOG
ubiquitous! great piece of vocab Stu! Latin root 'ubique' meaning 'everywhere'. Learned the term back in Latin lessons and it has since been one of my favourite obscure words. You sir are quite the wordsmith, props for working that one into the vid, nice touch!

Either the PKP is deceptively light for an LMG, or that AMR needs to go on a diet. I mean _Jesus_ that's a heavy rifle.
悲し子猫ちゃん "light machine gun"
悲し子猫ちゃん didn't they buff and nerf the PKP in MW3?
if the as50 was light, shooting it would probably dislocate your shoulder. Besides, the barrett is about 5-6 lbs heavier
The light in light machine gun normally goes towards the calibre or use...if you use a smaller round or use it as an infantry weapon it´s light or medium ^^
@@hmmyou2544 it's a gpmg, not an lmg
PEE KAY PEE PET CHAN EGG
lmao
Russian is, in my personal opinion, the most beautiful sounding language in existence. If Stuart spoke Russian, I'm pretty sure I would die.
I hate mw3 but love how this guy make these videos.....
Can't stop watching them....
I've watched all of your weapon guide videos so far, and plan to watch all of the rest, plus the ones for Black Ops 2 when you start making them
It's surprising we have never seen the PKM in cod, it's something I think would fit nicely in cod4
It's surprising we haven't seen the mg3 too
Oh wow it is surprising owow
Got my gold PKP the other day, and I have to say it's the best looking gold gun I've seen. Such a tank.
Actually pkp is fed from right side but in mw3 it is fed from left side
A little note on the bipod- in the next modernisation they actualy want to move the bipod away from the muzzle, kind of like it was on PKM. I never knew how to pronounce it so I called it the "PKP pechenga"
Thanks for your series they are awesome.
I came here cause of contract wars.
You make everything sound so intense
So professionally done.
whats up xboxahoy i just wanted to say i love your vids the production quality is very high and its obvious you put a lot of time and work into them :]
me too
i wish you would also show some clips from hardcore game modes. this gun is absolutely killer in hardcore domination.
The FN P90 was made in Belgium but has German roots. I love that he includes captions that actually work thank you xbox ahoy
Keep that candle Stu. Always makes me think of some form of temporary base behind enemy lines where you may need to darken up the area fast.
It is already in the game. You can pick it up in the campaign mode, so it might be plausible that they could add it to the create a class menu for online.
I love these videos keep up the great work
The MP7 is a sub-machine gun but was made to be a PDW, the G36c on the other hand is an assault rifle that is still German origin but is used and was made for military uses.
Great vid!!!! keep up the good work!!!
can't wait for his episode on the P90, gun is a legend.
i love this videos man..hope you can get to the ACR soon
Well, the Pulemyot Kalashnikova internally is actually based on the Avtomat Kalashnikova (gas, rotating bolt).
ahoy captain... well that was a very good video.. lot of facts and fun to watch :D
Ok imagine xboxahoy and Boo doing a dual commentary....that would be the smoothest commentary ever *shudders from the awesomeness*
Hey Stu, which weapon guide series did you find easier to produce? The Black Ops guides for RUclips, or the MW3 guides for Elite? he was correct. the cartridge was originally developed in 1891. it has been in service longer than any other military cartridge in the world.
Best commentating voice on youtube
MP5 was basically covered in MW2 along with the UMP.45. So yes, it's the MP7. Also he said diminutive cartridge, and the MP7 fires the HK 4.6x30mm round.
Thermal sights on LMGs reduce the recoil.
The L86 thermal+grip is a beastly weapon.
i noticed something. most other shooters with a PKM/PKP depict it with the belt and charging handle on the right of the gun. only MW3 has the belt and charging handle on the left
Rpd with grip was a total beast on estate and quarry
Love the videos but what happen to the part where u suggested perks & attachments? That was my favorite part of ur videos. Thx again for the hard work.
teh Kriss Kard was in the BLOP2 trailer, which is a handgun based on the Vector's firing mechanism.
You're right. The 4.6x30mm round is fairly special; the MP5 fires the 9x19 Parabellum round and the UMP45 fires the .45ACP round. These rounds are not as unique as they are found in many weapons.
Stuart, 2 questions
1) Is the MP7 your next video?
2) The next time you do a machine gun video, would you consider doing the MK46?
Love this series about guns its awesome
I like using the Foregrip and Holo just for that little amount of zoom
MP5 and the UMP45 are both submachine guns. They fire pistol calibre rounds. A PDW however, fires a scaled down rifle cardridge in a compact package. The P90 and the MP7 are good examples.
Stuart I've heard rumors of a possible new gun (the ak-74u to be precise) that may be released, seeing as you have worked with and produced weapon guides for mw3 and Activision i was wondering if you might have any info regarding this at all...id love this rumor to be true but....I'm not holding my breath... thanks, and keep doing what your doing!
Why are all of these videos age restricted
The MP7 is up next it's the only smg left that is also characterized as a PDW(combo of SMGs and carbines) and the UMP45 has a large cartridge
Is the candle blowing out when you said "Farewell" new, or have I just not noticed it? Either way, thought that was a nice touch.
Stuart, love the Beverage Guide Express. Question, what is your favourite Lager?
The p90 is a pdw too, but the p90 is not a German weapon. The p90 is a Belgium weapon made FN Herstal. The MP7 is a German pdw made by H&K which will be featured in the next episode of Weapons of Modern Warfare. :)
I think it might make it easier for developers as the reloading would be similar to the other LMGs hence requiring less space used on the disc.
This episode is one of the shortest ones ever
Hey Stuart, how long on average would you say you spend working on a single video? Capturing, writing, editing, rendering, etc?
Nope. He even said on his AhoyXbox channel that it will be the MP7, that he's focused on the new weapons in the CoD series, and that WMW will be ending soon so he can focus more on finishing the Blops series before BO2's release.
Excellent work XboxAboy.
@feffontes PDW stands for Personal Defense Weapon, basically another name for SMGs.
I use the Holo most on the SCAR-L and the LMGs, except for the mag fed ones like the M27 IAR, L86, MG36, QBB-95.
Stu, what do you think of the Dragunov after the patch? I hated it at first, but I totally love it now.
Stuart Brown never fails to impress.
My favourite weapon in MW3. Its a beast and with Scavenger Pro is EPIC!!
Either Ump .45 which uses the .45 ACP round ( less likely because hes done it before ) or the mp7 which fire a special caliber but is made by hekkler and coch
Shouldn't the belt go though the right?
My favourite weapon in MW3. Its amazing and very powerful. Love it!!!
Hey Stuart,
Considering that a new CoD comes out every year, does this mean that some TTK episodes will be redone (if needed be)?
By the way, I'd love to see you do some Borderlands Weapon Guides, ha ha.

It doesn't matter if the feeding is from right or from the left, especially when the shells fly downwards away from the shooters face
I shudder to think that i might be on the other team against people like you- Do you have the Type 95 Golden? Thought so.
Hey Stuart, you seem to have your plate full of projects (Weapons of Modern Warfare, Black Ops Weapon Guides, Time To Kill, Beverage Guide Express, etc.) so have you ever considered bringing in outside help like an intern or something?
No sir , the pecheneg in MW3 is the First model , the model as you seen in BF3 or real life is the late model with belt fed from the right side , i hope you find my information is useful :)
because generally PDW (personal defense weapons) are SMGs/Machine Pistols
Stu, if you had to choose between the Vector from MW2 & the MP7 from MW3 as a weapon in the game, which would you prefer? But IRL, which would be your go to PDW?
I think he already did the Scar-L....and the pun was something along the lines of "The Scar will cut your enemies deep"
Xboxahoy, which COD do you think has the best LMG balance. Btw love the vids, keep em coming!
Maybe Spas-12 at some point? Or have you covered all the history there is in the mw2 and BO guides? :P
Yeah, I meant to to say none of the other German weapons use the 4.6x30mm round.
Stuart, with the Olympics coming up in London this year, I was wondering: will you be attending? And what events are you looking forward to the most?
I bet you it WILL be the MP7, seeing how everyone practically knows the iconic MP5 seen in most CoD's. I think MW3 is the MP7's debut.
When are you going to make some long episodes? I miss those 10-12 minute episodes.
The PKM was in Bad Company 2 if I remember correctly :)
thats why if you look at his channel he only did one ep. of homefront weapon guide
