I´m a baritone / bass and I´m practicing this same MALE version. If I manage to pull this song I WILL FUCKING RULE THE KARAOKE BAR ( evil laugh insert) .Yes, it´s lana with a lowered pitch but with enough practice a baritone can pull this song fuckin A.

With all of the modern voice " altering /assisting / enhancing " software ( example: Auto Tune anyone ? ) a LOT of variations can be produced during &/or after recording music tracks. Many of the BIG Headline solo singers/ groups DO use, to varying degrees, back track / over dub / intro audio / vocal " supporting " tracks... If people heard some of these so-called singers without the "supporting" audio /vocal software you might be pissed. Some of the biggest names today sound mediocre at best and downright horrible live.. Brittney Spears, Enrique Iglesias are two who come to mind ( Google : Brittney's concert equipment failure when an audience member captured her "singing" without any help - cackling chickens sounded better. Or Enrique Iglesias' PRE-recorded backtrack vocal failure during a concert in Belgium- he sounded horrible also. The fans turned on no Enrique via social media. The next day he & the promoters did Damage control by issuing massive refunds. Many then fans turned on Enrique-calling him a NO talent ,two bit amateur, a sellout , a fraud, a cheat who probably NEVER was and NEVER will be anywhere as truly talented as his father, Julio Iglesias, who DOES have a real ,authentic voice.. Enrique permanently lost a lot of fans because of that incident. Fans FINALLY realized and UNDERSTOOD how they have been fooled all of these years by these so-called " singers " . A good number of today's "singers" are B,C or D list imposteurs !!! There a LOT of truly talented , authentic singers who use their REAL,unaltered voices without the need to pull one over on their fans. Those are the singers I support and enjoy !!!
