I always feel any kind of music will connect to people no matter what. I had moments when hearing a song or beat in the past resonating recently years after. It's difficult to pinpoint when or why, it just does.
@@by9thplanetthere's so many, Christina Aguilera immediately comes to mind in her entire catalog. It's not just her style of music, but the maturity of her sound for how young she was. Some of her lesser known songs are really ageless. At the time, her songs can easily be written off as pop Ballard stuff but looking back you can feel she went through some living that's relatable. Black Sabbath's song "Changes" is amazing and would make for an incredible soul vibe. Fatboy slim has some beats that makes for good samples that can be used today. I don't know if it's something to do with hearing these things in the background subliminally or if it's always there that scratches inside the brain when it happens.
@@riopato2009 hmm interesting! I had a christina album and i loved her voice. but i never went back and really gave her a deep listen. I might do that tn. ima listen to Changes as well. im not sure that i've heard it :x there r def songs that are timeless w me as well so i feel u. like it transports me to every other time I've enjoyed it.
A little late watching this but not too late to show some love, right? Always nice to hear a professional review exo songs. I like your perspective on Blackout. Stay safe!🫶🏼
not too late, but i'm going to have to knock 5 points off your assignment :/ ty for tapping in w me Nad! I was going to do unsafe things today, but now that you mention it, I will change my plans :/
@ aww that sucks. Guess i’ll have to make up for the -5 points. :/ Haha. Should i add ‘always’? So no more unsafe things for you there. Stay safe always! 🫶🏼 Btw, have you listened to the whole album? Would love to hear your thoughts on that as well. My favorite is Ease Up, but i love all the songs.👌👌
Cris. thank you. You're one of a million, literally. there's plenty of ppl in my area that don't vibe w my thought processes. hehe. what's your perspective?
word! I was listening to some other podcast about how music can be good music even if u just can't relate to it the same way that the artist can. if I had not listened to that podcast, i might have stayed in that same boat w u on not being able to vibe w this song. ty for watching and commenting :]
