Strawberries can't be planted in holes that doesn't allow runners to live. Forcing nature to unnaturally won't result in cash crops. Although it might work, some what. Time will tell. The methods were creative. From that bravo and Liked. Good Luck.
Thanks. Our other crop we will allowed to runner. These are supposed to produce the most this first season and not as much future seasons. That is our understanding anyways. We did it this way because commercial strawberry growers use plastic on hilled rows for strawberries. They plant them with a tractor that pokes holes in the plastic as they plant. This was our take on that at a smaller scale. Check out Farmer Dre for reference if you’re interested.
