Thank you very much Officer Steere for showing this couple some compassion & not adding to their financial burdens. I had a seizure in October 2017 & was taken to the ER, they automatically inform the ministry of transportation & my license was suspended. Medical suspensions are one year. I’d never had a seizure before, but the Dr put me on seizure meds because I also get migraines & they would help with those. I’m an only child & my elderly Mother has dementia & cancer. I’m the only one who can take her to her Dr appointments, get her groceries, etc. I only drove my car to do these errands for my Mother because of necessity. I also wasn’t working for several reasons when I got pulled over, apparently speeding trying to get to an appointment. I told the officer My license was suspended & my situation. I’d never had any type of traffic violation before, never been in any legal trouble but my insurance was high because my Son had gotten in an accident under my policy. So this would make my insurance even higher, plus the fines for speeding & driving while suspended could be $2500. He wouldn’t cut me any breaks. I ended up making a plea deal with the prosecutor, but it still cost me money I didn’t have. I finally got my license back & haven’t had any issues since that episode. I sure could have used a break that day like this couple got.

hayden brayton 😂😂😂
What a great human this cop is, well done and prayers for that couple.
Respect, you did good Sir. No point in adding to someone's hardship. I hope they can get back on their feet and god bless you Sir for being kind. To many people are in this spot and some don't even have a car to live out of.
Great Officer !!! 💙
ALL MY RESPECT For that Officer !!! God bless ya'll!!!
I am crying.. this is how life should be. Humans helping humans!
Someone should start a GoFund Me for him.

i wish the guy all the best and I ;pray that officer continues in his journey as an officer safely
What a great kind hearted police man see what being honest and cooperative can do respect goes a lot further than a bad attitude 😁
Bro why did I tear up heavy. Cops like this make me proud to be an American
I like that he was honest with the Police and didn't try to BS them. BRAVO to the officers involved for excellent public relations and not wanting to make a bad situation worse.
That's a real big guy to be living in the car, I feel sorry for them.
Such a beautiful caring act . Very touching
I appreciate these cops and for the guy being totally honest despite his pride as a man..👍🙂
WOW !!!!FINALLY A GOOD AND KIND COP ... WITH A HUGE HEART..WE NEED MORE OFFICERS LIKE HIM..REALLY.
Good job officer God bless you and your family and for letting them go. GOD BLESS U 🙏🏻
That officer has a heart of gold and that simple act of kindness clearly made their rough time less stressful.
That is very cool cop thinking with his head very compassionate God bless him
I’m not ashamed to say when that woman said “I appreciate that” to the cop I burst out crying 😥
May God bless and protect this officer.
Yeah, or perhaps training. I think good training protects him much better. Or coworkers, backup. Or pretty much everything other than wishes, which is what you god is.
Incredible, good on that officer for restoring faith humanity.
The guy got the break because of his honesty and cooperation. The cop was awesome to look at there circumstances but in the end it was the guy for being 100% real with the cop and people need to learn from that! Its not always the cops fault, most of the time its our own!
Very well said hypnoman!
You nailed it my friend.
