Hey man, I was wondering how dribbling through cones like that and doing ball mastery would actually help you in a game ? (I know a lot of people train it, I just don’t exactly know how it would help because you’re not gonna dribble inside outside or do constant la croquetas, etc.)
The way it would work is that youre forcing yourself to use a certain touch with a certain amount of power and direction, this translates into you being more adapted to dribbling the ball in for example a random pattern because you have practiced some of those touches before. Besides that you are learning the feel of the ball and by progressing in difficulty for example speed , different power of touch and moves youll progress your overall dribbling and ball controll further and further thats why when youd want to practice something like this youd want to have a set routine at first and try to do it better each and every rep making sure that youre strifing for perfection but never truly reaching it. One big takeaway here. It's important to bend slightly towards the knees. Makes a huge difference as its improves control.
