No. We take care of that during start. Pressure measuring gauge is set up in such a way it does not get disturbed by settlement of plate. If that happens entire test becomes useless

Sorry I am not aware of this. By any chance is it related to seating load applied before start of the actual loading ? We apply an initial pressure of 7kN/m2 at the start of loading. After some times this load is removed and then dials are adjusted to zero.
