This guide came out a bit later than I wanted but it took me a LONG time for this one (35 hours of editing, 30 hours on the spreadsheet/script, and several more hours writing the text guide, script, theorycrafting rotations and etc..)~ but I hope you enjoyed it ! Edits: I've updated some calculations - some effects, such as those for her sequences, are not diluted as much as they should be. I've also redone weapon calculations with a more controlled substat set (the previous calculation would only use 5 out of 10 possible crit-related subs), as well as changing crit weapon builds to use have a better crit:crit damage balance. New Sequence Values: S1: 3.28% (total) S3: 6.22% (total) S4: 13.76% (total) S5: 15.45% (total) S6: 23.98% (total) New Weapon Values, R1 -> R5: Stringmaster: 110.67% -> 112.42% (Updated with shorter buff duration on Yinlin's release) Cosmic Ripples: 100% -> 103.46% Augment: 90.58% -> 102.66% (R5 better than Cosmic Ripples R1!!) Jinzhou: 87.69% -> 90.13% Please check the text guide for the updated info!

yeah, right now, I am lost in ToF, just getting A0 or A1 only. The remaining ToF CC are only description informative not much numbers or benchmark, and either A0 or A6. I like ToF, but it can't be help that even with 4.0, feels dry. sad.

We can optimize the inferno rider even more. For inferno rider, as long as the third attack is pressed (Q), we can immediately switch to another person, the third attack will be continue until the whole animation is complete. Also the 4 cost birds from charging set is OP, you can switch immediately after press Q. I feel like this game is very hard to do the damage calculation just for one character. for me, 70% of my battle time has two characters doing different things at same time, and different team setup also require different combos. 😂
oh this is helpful, I should have checked out guides when I first started playing her. I use Taoqi instead of Sanhua on my game and it's for reasons that have 0 things to do with optimization. Prolly not the best, but it is fun ^_^ maybe someday down the road I can get a third pink haired (preferably healer) and have team pink. Pink gremlins unite!
the warm up rotation is actually insane, it so hard to get down, and it completely negates the animation to the point that the vines don't even spawn, but the damage is still dealt.
i hope u could make a taoqi guide one day, i mean, she isn't a gremlin but is pink 👀, and since she scales with defense, i think it would be interesting to see some theory crafting about her
The issue with the three 4 basic atk combo in ult mode is that you need to be frame perfect. In practice, you may need to dodge or move which costs frames which makes you miss out on the buffed version of the charged forte attack. The three skill variant is less frame intensive which means you can potentially dodge an enemy attack or such and still fit everything in.
There's actually quite a bit of leeway if you cancel the auto chains as early as possible! If you ever have to dodge something it starts you at the 3rd part of the combo as well~ the important thing is to just prioritize more basic attacks over the skill, only using the skill for the sole purpose of animation cancelling (if you have to dodge / move, so be it, continue basic attacking and hold skill for when you need) - but this could vary depending on your setup (if you're using Stringmaster, you'll want to skill as needed to maintain the buff)
@@Maygi Just from my own experience I often can't fit in the full three combos without missing out on the enhanced forte skill hit. When the enemy is like weakness broke, it's a lot easier, but mid combat, it's always been very iffy for me. And yes, I do sometimes use String Master on her, it just depends if I Yinlin is in the party or not, but I pretty much always use Yinlin. With her in party I use an S2 Augment since it has crit rate on it. In a party like this, I swap a lot between the two since both have a number of long animation attacks. I'll do swap backs to throw in echos and such too. But, I'll try to squeeze in more basics if you're confident it's practical even if I've found inconsistencies with it so far. I just cringe if I miss out on the enhanced forte. > w
DEYM WTF as an mobile player seeing that swap cancel rotation already shaking my hand , probably I need 1-2 weeks playing encore to master this insanity 💀
Managed to get a 93 crit rate and 201% crit dmg 43311 set with the yinlin weapon for la encore. One of the 3 costs doesn't have crit dmg so it can be further improved. Plus the yinlin weapon can get 7% more crit rate so I will literally have perfect 100% crit rate when I can level up her weapon.
about 1:2 ratio that you mentioned since Wuwa shows CD as 100+ CD then in fact 1:2 ratio is for example 50 %CR on 200 % CD then 70% CR on 240 % CD until 100% CR on 300 %^CD if my math is correct ofc
That doesn't seem to be the case. I just double checked with 5-piece echo set unequipped and can confirm the midair attack still procs the attack buff from her Inherent skill ~
@@Maygi oh weird, i just went and tested it again today, and it gave the atk buff. I swear it didnt proc the atk before a few days ago. They probably fixed it or I was doing something wrong. my bad
I wouldn’t say her midair attack has NO use. It’s her only way to parry outside of her ulty, though of course you can always dodge to get the faster basic rotation, or swap out to a melee character almost as easily. But it’s not COMPLETELY useless.
I've heard that people are experimenting with Encore as a burst DPS instead of a main DPS, focusing on her skill, ult, and Forte Circuit. I have no idea how good it is tho
I mean, that's pretty much her playstyle ! Her non-ult time is where you build up your teammates' buffs such that you can pump up her next ult burst window :3

Haha, glad you liked the guide :3 it was fun to figure out just how much could be packed into that E window! As for using her Forte outside of rave, I've thought about it before, but there's not really a time where it ever comes into play - you'll only get your Forte charged back up right as you go into Inferno Rider to prepare for the next burst, and if you're going to swap, it'd probably be better value to swap out of Inferno Rider 3rd hit to finish whatever unfinished business you have on your other chars (just... don't swap out if you procced Sanhua outro already!)
Just a question, can't we animation cancel the inferno rider's last attack by switching to someone else first then going back to Encore? or will she not get the inferno rider's buff once you switched out? edit: ok nvm, i read your handbook. lol (not cancellable) it says. Oh! You actually can swap as the last hit starts and still get the buff, though the use cases for this are very limited because the cooldown mostly lines up with your burst rotation, meaning you use it right before going into Rave... where you should have Sanhua buff, and swapping off to do something else would mean dropping that buff. However, there are some use cases where you can swap off for a brief moment. I forgot to update that in the guide, but I'll update it now :3
Thanks for the guide! I know the updated rotation is in the dmg calculator but I still had a question. After doing Verina's mid-air attack, how do you activate Sanhua's E instantly while she's still in the air after swapping? I have to wait until she touches the ground before I can use her skill.
From what I can recall this was very inconsistent to pull off and needed to be a really fast swap as Verina jumps and attacks; it's better nowadays to just go for the entire full Verina rotation and Intro to Sanhua, during which you can pre-charge a detonate!

Stringmaster is expected to be ~8-9% better than Rime-Draped Sprouts, though this may vary slightly depending on your rotation & stats!

You actually can swap as the last hit starts and still get the buff, though the use cases for this are very limited because the cooldown mostly lines up with your burst rotation, meaning you use it right before going into Rave... where you should have Sanhua buff, and swapping off to do something else would mean dropping that buff. However, there are some use cases where you can swap off for a brief moment. I forgot to update that in the guide, but I'll update it now :3

Thanks for the guide! I know the updated rotation is in the dmg calculator but I still had a question. After doing Verina's mid-air attack, how do you activate Sanhua's E instantly while she's still in the air after swapping?
I have to wait until she touches the ground before I can use her skill.
From what I can recall this was very inconsistent to pull off and needed to be a really fast swap as Verina jumps and attacks; it's better nowadays to just go for the entire full Verina rotation and Intro to Sanhua, during which you can pre-charge a detonate!
