I was on the Social Chaos tour 1999. in The US working For TSOL, UK SUBS and a Dozen other bands half from uk and half American bands. I watched UK Subs every night for 6 weeks , they were amazing, Nicky Garrett did the tour , i nevet seen anyone Jump that Hi of A Marshall Half Stack and he jumped every night, Alvin Gibbs is one of the greatest bass players in the world, Charlie was spot on every single Night. He jumped in our Van one night we had a 10 hour drive, i was driving Charlie Riding Shotgun, i learned a lot that night, him talking about touring with Crass and Throbing Gristle in 1978 and much more stories . He has Done some Amazing things for Punk ,i been in the punk community in Orange County CA us since 1981, loved Subs then .The Greatest he is, Charlie Harper 🎉🎉❤
The only time I ever saw UK Subs was at Huddersfield Polytechnic, there was a brawl after a few minutes and gig was abandoned. I'm the proud owner of "Tomorrow's Girl" on Blue 7" vinyl.
I use to go to lots of subs gigs when they were supported by anti nowhere league back in the early 80s when i lived in nyc as a teen they were one of my fave bands together with minor threat and black flag back in Italy i saw them playing in some anarchist centre around 2008 i said to Charlie "i feel old!" He replied "and what should i say?"😂 In this gig i recognise only the bass player from the original line up but nevertheless thanx for posting! Long live Charlie the grandpa of punk😅
Thanks for posting this. Seen the UK SUBS too many times to remember and every gig was FOO KING amazing . Long live Charlie Harper ✊🏼🥸

No Endangered Species... that's a surprise. Good to see Keep On Running.
All Charlie's lyrics are still relevant, especially Warhead.... Nothing much has changed since the 80s.
Respect for Lemmy tribute T shirt.
Never never start intro music of the same kind. It kills the tension.
that guy cleans up spills like i do at work lol, with my foot
What a cracking night,
Great night
Good old Charlie great guy ..
How do you know? He may get exposed as a pedo nonce in the future. Then you’ll look very silly! Think about it…🤔👈
Why? Surely theres a time to stop…😔
#UK82
