Verno challenges Tokoha to a fight on the day before the finals of the U20 Championship. During the fight where their ideals clash, Verno finds out about the identity and objective of Kazumi.

Looks like I have to do bloom explanation this week ;)
On this week's episode is a bloom player's perfect scenario.
Tokoha strides into Lieta and uses her skill, now being able to call as many cards 1 + her current face up G units, being 5.
She calls 5 cards, which have names in her soul, Thuria and Katrina
She calls Katrina A-C
She then monologues for a moment, then calling the rest of the Thuria's, and with their skills, they become Katrina D and E.
5 Katrina's are called, so each original Katrina blooms 4 times, so that amount X 3 is the power added, which Verno states, 48,000 to each unit.
Lieta also adds 3k to 3 units, probably being to Both Thuria, which is why her last column was going to be 118k instead of the first one's 115k.

I like Verno because she is so open to all the cardfighters she battles and she is completely different than Ominmaru and Saori and the fact she uses Genesis(one of my favorite decks) which not alot of people play

It actually doesn't bother me a bit. 'teenage girls sometimes do things like that. crush on a guy, grieve someone they likes death. Its a human emotion. Just cause she is a vanguard fighter doesn't mean she can't experience a connection to someone of the opposite sex after one meeting. idky people are whining so much about it anyway. Kourin all but fawned over Aichi and I don't really recall anyone being annoyed by it. I mean she was even willing to let him do the wrong thing, going against Blaster blades wishes, just so she could keep him and her memories.
goddesschild24 maybe it's the difference in "time".....Kourin fawned over Aichi for the spa of the entire series of first Vanguard series...while Tokoha only spend two episode with Miguel (as far as i remember)...people maybe don't like it because "why would Tokoha fall this deep into love when she only spend two episode with Miguel!?"...so yeah...the difference of "time"?
The Miguel flu spread to Verno and Onimaru during the semi-finals and Tokoha's medication worked.

Amaruda can hardly use Gleipnir or Gjoll, so Verno has to make up for the lack of draws... That's why Fenrir, even without Wiseman, is better than Amaruda for now :/

Saori isn't necessarily a good person. Remember he's a willing diffrider , the only unwilling diffriders are Kazumi/Shiranui and Noa/Chaos Breaker. The rest shared their bodies with the unit willingly
Blazeknight7 Saori is a kid though. So he probably dont know if its a good idea or not.
Well, Flare Trooper Dumjid simply believes that might makes right. Due to his status as a perfect guard, he is able to defend against anything, while other things died. Because of that, he believes that he is superior. If I recall, diffriding takes place due to a connection of emotions, so it might be that child Saori thinks in a similar way (not war-related of course)
Holy Fucking Shit, Tokoka Goes Crazy every fight with 100K Attack EVERYTHING. I swear if she was the final boss of Vanguard G nobody would fucking complain xD.
Also Holy Shit, Different World Riders can Only Lose 6 Times? Rip, their entire life is a fucking vanguard match.

IceshadeComets Interesting, especially because you lose at 6 dmg, and they don't lose their lives after their 6 losses, Verno said she would go back to cray and tell others about shiranuis plan, so she must still be alive after that. But if the theory that vanguard matches mean battles on planet cray is true than it could be only a matter of time before someone using Verno's vanguard could end up killing her by losing.

She had to have had a Katrina and Thuria in soul AND the rest in the deck. The episode just gave the best case scenario, it's not viable.

I am surprised that Amaruda can even become more likable after that amount of losses she had.
It's like she's there just to see who has the potential and she's supposed to be an antagonist, but she still accepts her defeats with grace and actually thanks her opponents for showing them their fighting spirit and their vanguard.
So to diffride you have to have the same voice actor as your unit. No wonder why only anime characters can do it.

What's this? Have my eyes deceived me? Is this the real Tokoha growing as a character? I'm super surprised! ^-^ Verno isn't a bad person than we thought, which is interesting. What is up with Kazumi? What is going on with him and Kazuma!? This is probably my personal favorite episode so far, in my opinion.

She could've called Katrina instead and have had Ida share Katrina's name with Lieta. If she'd used it like this then used Lieta's skill, there would've been 17 blooms and her lanes would've been 155k, 101k, & 158k
But lieta skill let her to get any name in her soul. So basically she already same name with katrina and i'm pretty sure there's 1 katrina in the soul

I'll admit, this was an okay episode. I still don't understand why Miguel's ghost is around Tokoha! I think it may play some crucial role in the upcoming episodes.

Now that Tokoha is done with the U20, where will she go from here? I'm really hoping she doesn't go back to Paris, or at least come back next session.
Here's my prediction of what's going to happen in the next few episodes:
Verno loses and "dies"? I guess?
Saori wins (or vice versa)
Chrono defeats Kazumi, and then he either sees the error of this ways and gets taken over by this "Master" he keeps talking about or he doesn't and does something like Ryuzu did in Stride Gate. Either way, I feel like chaos will ensue after their fight.
21:41 - Shion: "Tokoha you're as reckless as Chrono" I feel like even Shion ships them. By the way, I think this is the first NEXT episode that didn't show Chrono (in person).

Although, that's a bit of a twist isn't it, even if they beat Onimaru, they may not actually beat him completely?
YamiJK That is a possibly that they won't completely beat Shiranui, because this season is ending on November 1st or September 30th (depending on where you are in the world).
To be honest I won't mind the next season following Chaos Breaker(and possibly Shiranui) as the antagonist, because I'd hate to have everything be rushed in the last few episodes. After what Chaos Break tried to do to Kanzaki, I'd hate to see Noa return at the end normal with no explanation. Plus if you look at the products line for the end of the year it is possible!!

Each katrina bloom 4x, because of the timing ruling, so + 16k x 3 = 48k+ each thuria

Well. You see, She called 3 Katrinas and 2 Thurias that BECAME KATRINAS.
So, other than the katrina, there are 4 other katrinas called. So, You bloom 4x for each original katrinas

Why Lieta didn't get power up, while one Katrina is in the soul? It is supposed that Lieta possessed the name of its soul, isn't it? Why is the power 81k only?
Because Kat only gives power to Rear-guard Kats, not units on the vanguard circle.
Jacob Gregory I thought it only gave power to five of them.
Kat's skill specifically says up to 5 Katrinas on (RC), so the van can't be counted.

ALL of them have bad luck. Onimaru can't win at rock-paper-scissors, Saori's headphones keep breaking down... I think it has something to do with the Stride Gate, like Earth itself is giving them bad luck o reject their presence.

Nah...no restrictions, that's just how neo nectar plays :) just like the only pale moon has the ability to use perfect guard from the soul and only angel feathers have a g unit that can heal you, neo nectars all about the power of blooming and gaining lot and lot of power. it was my very first deck and I love my neo nectars :D
Beside bloom can be only use one time for some overpowering cards except for Odette and Thuria
Neo Nectar is not overpowered as you think otherwise they should have top tournaments by now.

So... if Tokoha just call katrina instead, she could have won against chrono with those huge power
I am late but I can explain why it doesn't work that way. In order for G Neo Nectar pre Blue Ahsha to call cards from deck, they either have to be on rear-guard circle or in soul(lieta) Tokoha in that game didn't have any katrinas on the field. Also katrina can only reach high power when you called 3-5 together at the same time because every katrina can proc 3-4 times giving 12-16k power x 4 times which is 48-64k instead of 1 at a time which will give relatively less power. In scenarios where you can't call 3-4 katrinas it is better to call noel/sharl during that era

Tell me about it. They have not developed their archetypes/sub clans properly and give them minimal support each year. They have generic strides that do not splash well in other decks and therefore Genesis has been defense creeped out in many builds.
