Battery voltage jumps up because charging circuit detects this lower voltage and engages the generator as soon as you start your car to charge the battery and voltage provided by generator pushes the voltage up to 14+ volts. This has nothing to do with the health of your Hybrid battery.

Bro when ever there will be an issue in HV battery pack , meter will display check engine light and red triangle 🔺️ . Auxiliary battery's life and health can also be check by another special meter , which mostly all battery retailers have.
The triangle can be cleared in software for some time, so it is not a reliable marker while purchasing. It will reappear in some time, like a week or so, but if someone has already purchased the car in that time, little can be done then. Even if the seller guarantees battery for 1-2 weeks, it is possible that a single or a few weak cells have been repaired. This can enable the battery to live for 2-3 months more until another cell fails. This will also not be detected by most battery meters common in local market.
