💡🙏🎼 Yes ... TOOL is one of those few bands you don’t just listen too ... TOOL is a band you have to EXPERIENCE ... Big difference... Another band for example would be PINK FLOYD 🎼
@@JordyFern I'm sure the people in your life feel blessed to have you around. Whatever would they do without you? Rhetorical question of course. I don't require an answer. Have a great evening, Bob.
I love it when drummers with more basic kits cover bands with drummers with massive elaborate kits, and they pull it off perfectly 😊 Love the hi-hat action of this song.
Ok my mind is blown. I just went back and rewatched the drum intro about 147 times. Growing up as a kid in the 90s we thought that was the craziest shit imaginable. There was no RUclips back then, so we didn’t get the visual learning. So now I know it’s not impossible lol. Good job btw
TBH - I hesitate on watching Tool drum covers. If it isn't on point in the first 10-15 seconds, I click away. I stayed for the entire cover... great job
What impresses me the most about Kriss' drumming is how effortless she makes it at look. If you watch Baard Kolstad playing for example it always looks like he's about to birth a baby or something while Kriss looks like she's having a nice walk in the park.
She’s got talent. But this is arguably the easiest tool song to choose. Could have something to do with how easy making it look. I hope she does more complex songs because most of the stuff she chooses is actually quite simple
Dude, Baard Koolstad is like another level of drumming compared to her. She is really, really good, that's an undeniable fact. But Baard has his way of playing with a lot of emotions, which is not that easy if you take into consoderation that he plays perfectly 5 times more complicated songs than her, where he even writes these drum parts himself.
@@malastrasza sure, I love his drumming and I'm not saying they're on the same level, but if you look at Danny Carey or Mike Portnoy they both play complex stuff and both have that "this is not hard at all" vibe.
i love how she kinda moves like stevie wonder its like shes not just drumming shes feeling it like a savant its amazing you go girl you definitely have a new fan here
You demonstrated a very high level of skill in your completely unique performance style so that I could listen to the most beautiful cover of this magical music. Thank you Kristina 👍👏🌹🌹🌹💕.
I have watched your covers so many time's ( prefer them over the original videos ) Even voted for you because you are so good at what you do.....But I never thought you would cover this song and when it popped up I said no f'ing way.....More proof you are one of the best I have ever heard....THANK YOU KRISS!!!
If I'd met you when I was a young guitar player I would have LOVED jamming with you, but also have a huge crush that would've ruin me for years. Great drumming. Tool's my favorite band. I have a few videos playing along on my channel but they're embarrassing by todays standards. Recorded with my phone.
Hell yeah Kriss! I’ve been wanting you to cover some Tool forever! Awesome job! That high hat groove during the verse is so confusing to me lol, but you killed it! ❤
I discovered Tool only recently, watching "Danny Carey | "Pneuma" by Tool (LIVE IN CONCERT)" on RUclips, I think I've seen that video 100 times now, I'm still amazed :) It's a nice song to fully enjoy your new HIFI system. Great to see a song from them now here on your channel, whoohoo. Still have to wait till our dog visits my parents to turn the volume wheel here in the house :)
I am truly surprised no major band has not hired this woman. She is enormously talented drummer and very beautiful. Even though I know she downplays that in her simplicity
Спасибо!!! I went to boarding school in Russia in 2001, where I made friends with hard rock fans. But I left all of my Tool CDs back in the US by accident. I must have visited every market in Moscow selling CDs and nobody had ever heard of Tool back then. And the internet wasn't a thing, so I literally had no way of letting Russian kids hear tool. It was so sad. This is awesome!
Nice job, love me some TOOL. Have seen them 7 times since 2002. Some day try Rosetta Stoned. It's pretty difficult (I think...Im no drummer) but seems like it would be a blast to cover on drums. Im lucky to have seen them so many times but Im bummed I never got to see Maynard do this one up front acting all creepy like he used to. By 2002 he had moved to the rear. Still amazing, but seeing them in the 90s would have been amazing.
I just cant belive it; couple weeks ago I wrote here, that it would be great to see you doing Tool cover- and there it is! You've nailed it! Great drumming. I hope that you'll go deeper with Tool; there is some good and challenging stuff for U.
That double triplet rack to floor to kick fill was sick. So technical. I had to watch that at half speed a few times. I also finally saw your in ear mic cord behind you. Nice job of concealing it. I know it can be a distraction for viewers, but it also can be for the performer. I have to run it down the inside of the back of my shirt when playing live, just to keep it from snagging anything. I love your drum sound too. The tuning is top notch.
I'm literally giving you a standing ovation from my living room. Amazing job. One of favorite songs, by one of my favorite bands, and percussioned by... (Is that word? lol) by one the of top drummers of all time.... Danny Carey!!!! I truly respect you for covering it. I look forward to seeing more. Keep rocking!!!!!!!
I'm a bassist n just mess around on drums but I could never get the high-hat part right on the verse w this one. It's trickier than it looks! Well done.
Bravo 👏 I'm so glad you have started your journey through the spiral of Tool. I would love to see more, like one of their more complex songs. I'm not asking you attempt Rosetta Stoned just yet, but something like the Grudge would be awesome.
What track should I cover next?
You killed it!! Great job 👏
Limp Bizkit - Almost Over 😊
Blink 182 - Heart's All Gone
Mudvayne - Skrying
Bones of birds, Soundgarden 😈
