I rather want to forget what Solar does to Sun. I tried to because I know Sun loves Solar, too. I mean Solar helped them a lot, and his amazing mechanic skills to do so he just always helping and hardworking he got the family that loves him and he deserves it.
Solar deserves better than how people from his dimension treated him except his sun of course.
I've been wanting and dreaming to see Solar and Sun bounding.
i feel sorry for solar he wants to find a way to save nexus but i have a feeling that there is no way for him to be saved, does anyone also think that nexus is beyond saving seeing as he was ok that he was going to kill earth just so he could kill bloodmoon.

I think Nexus and Eclipse suffered from the same problem but from 2 different extremes. Eclipse was given memories of his past self, yet desires to be HIMSELF, not his legacy and struggles to achieve that (thus his excuse to bring back solar wasn't to prove nexus he's better then him, it was to leave a good lasting image that HE made, especially for Earth's sake). Nexus on the other hand was given the opposite treatment but dealt in a similar outcome. He was given the legacy of Old Moon's past mistakes and when he interacted with his Old self in the mind, he was given the burden to try to live to that expectation). I think that when Old Moon mentioned when he went "Silent", New Moon/Nexus finally understood what HE (Nexus, not New Moon/Old Moon) wanted. HE wanted to live however he saw fit, and being good just wasn't his style with so many rules and restrictions on what can and cannot be created thanks to his legacy of Old Moon. He discarded his family to embrace his TRUE self and aspirations, much to the dismay of others (both family and fans alike).
Tl;Dr: Both Nexus and Eclipse have similar yet polarizing problems that stem from their legacy and desire to be themselves, haunted by their past actions.

@@raccoon_pawz Hes still a jerk tho for giving up his family. While there are many bad family dynamics in society, the one with the Celestial Body Family (Sun, Moon, Lunar, Earth and others) didnt seem too toxic (at first glance, haven't watched ALL episodes), so for Nexus to just give up on his loved ones was a very selfish and bum-hole move to make.
As Old Moon stated, it wasn't because of an external force making New Moon become Nexus such as Ruin's virus or Dark Star Energy, it was his own choice. HE decided to abandon it all. Not out of selflessness to protect the family from his own deranged behavior, but to simply live out his sick fantasy of being EVIL (He did state that he preferred working for Dark Sun then being with the Celestial Family).

Like Puppet said, Nexus' decline was abnormally fast. Some MUST have happened to him, and if it wasn't a virus, then it was something else. Maybe negative Star Power.

@moonrizer-qb5do When he was dropped in space, for a brief moment, his guilt about what he did to Earth was welling up, and he tried to push it away. He doesn't want to feel anything anymore because it hurts him too much.
But one can only run away from his true emotions for so long. They will catch up.
I believe he still has a chance of being saved from his insanity. In the past, he loved his family so much, he is capable of caring. And Solar is the best bet, because last time he saw Nexus, he put the wellbeing of his family above anything else, including his own.

This bonding episode was so wholesome 😢 being absolute DORKS. Glad Solar got his boots back. Sad that he didn't get to have a full conversation with Jack. But the laughter Solar and Moon shared was addictive. I also love how Jack promises to murder anyone that tries to hurt Dazzle and Sun says NOTHING on that. Probably a very quiet "good" in his head. Hope Sun gets to have more time with Solar and Jack. Glad they're gonna play games later. Can't wait for Dazzle to meet uncle Solar.
