What about single camera streaming shows? The comedic ones are basically one long story in movie format. One long arch with each episode having sitcomish plot lines. Do you consider those sitcoms in the way you use the term?

So, Monty Python isn't a sitcom. And actually, quite a lot of the original TV sketch show is confusing and don't work as well as the movies, which make much more sense. And The Young Ones is almost an anti-sitcom. I'm interested you think I don't have a clue. I've made a living writing comedy for TV and radio for 25 years so I have, at least, a clue.
