Thank you so much for this. Gwen Miller was a great athlete and roll model for a lot of women and girls. She never received the athletic recognition she deserved in the 60's and 70's. Fast, tricky, courageous, proud, bold, what a woman.

It's so weird that their was this hyper violent Women's sport in the 70's and nothing since. Women's hockey is not close to this brutality.

@@NormAppleton I still remember watching Gretzky in ‘79, his first appearance on HNIC against Toronto. “Haha! They said this kid is too skinny, and can’t skate! Look at this kid go!”

Gwen is in the roller games roller derby Hall of Fame. She did this razzle dazzle and roller games but when she skated in a roller derby League she ran into a lot stiffer competition
