For me no matter what I have to stay humble and grateful. I'm not perfect so I can't say I'm perfect at staying humble or grateful but if God sees me not being humble and grateful he quickly reminds me of how my life used to be and how quickly the things or people that I'm grateful for in my life today, can be taken away. This message reminds me of my entire family, even though we have our differences, if someone is hungry or needs a place to stay, were always here for each other!! And really it doesn't stop at only family, that goes for anyone that crosses our paths.
I love this because even after God has opened doors for us, blessed us with new opportunities, and elevated us in one way or another - we still have a responsibility to remain humble and to be patient.
