Nice, but you are not moving coins to trezor, they are stored in the blockchain. You just added protection to send/recieve your coins throw through metamask
Exactly! I was very confused by this statement he made: "As the BNB is actually on the device, if you ever need to do any transactions, you obviously have to have your Trezor plugged in, otherwise you won't be able to do them. It's not actually stored on Metamask, it's stored on your Trezor, which is obviously safer." This appears to be completely false. tasss550, do you know if we would be able to receive transactions without the device being plugged in?
@@MattWinans No, is not stored in you trezor either. Nothing is stored in a ¨wallet¨, is stored in the blockchain. The ¨wallet¨ just generate the private keys offline, and gives protection to send them out. Reason why you can access those ¨coins¨ if you lost your wallet. Nothing is stored in a wallet, is stored in the blockchain.
This is good too when you want to kerp safe usdt/usdc.Just add them with bsc contract and thats it.Good thing when is bear to keep stable out excanges and transactions not expensive like erc20
Great video - I have a question: is the BNB stored on metamask or on your trezor hardware wallet in this case? And if you disconnect the hardware wallet, will it be stored on the hardware wallet or metamask? thanks
Hey Rbm so my question is if Metamask gets somehow out of business or get delete etc if we store on Metamask and add it to our trezor how would we recover our coins
So we can send coins though any supported Blockchain to trezor via meta mask? For example: mm connected to trezor, we are sending usdt on binance smart chain to trezor and it stores there even if before we have sent other tokens via tezor suite? Sorry if the question is not clear. I'm asking it due to the gas price, sometimes it is expensive on etherium Blockchain and there is no other Blockchain option on the trezor suite Thanks
Thank you Michael, this was very helpful. When I go back to revisit Metamask, I select BNB Smart Chain Mainnet, I can't re-select the network chosen to store BNB, except that the arrow out takes me to Bscan. Am I viewing BNB here on my Trezor?
hey man, thanks for this video!!! So got a question ⁉️🙋🙋🙋 Would going through these steps secure the tokens moved using BSC network to the Trezor phyisically? or are they being kept on metamask and Trezor is used to allow access?
Great videos dude, really learning from you. question: if I use my trezor on a different pc, with another metamask setup, will I be able to acess my cripto stored on my trezor? (hopefully that made sense)
Hey how can you convert the bnb into other coins through the trezor? It won’t work for me, transaction will just keep loading when I try swapping coins through trezor
Have you switched networks from the Ethereum Network to Binance Smart Chain? After adding the token contract address and hitting import token, you should see your bnb
So you can do the similar things with other networks like Arbitrum, Optimism, Matic, etc, right? The crypto is stored in the metamask, but we can't see them on the desktop suite, but we can see them on MetaMask. Say my trezor device is lost, but I have my seed-phrase, can I retrieve everything with only my seed-phrase? When I set up with Metamask again, will I be able to see the crypto stored in Trezor?
Should be just fine for any of those as long as they are on the BEP-20 BSC network. Always double check first though by sending a test transaction your first time of a small amount to see if the deposit shows up. If everything’s ok then send the rest. Yes, since you're storing your tokens on the Binance Smart chain through Metamask you can only see them on there, not on the desktop suite. Make sure you have your seed phrase for your Metamask account and for your Trezor. If you lose your Trezor and you don't have both there's a good chance those funds would be lost. Hypothetically, you would have to restore your account on a new Trezor if you lost your old one, then just reconnect to Metamask like normal.
Does that mean you can similarly add Harmony or any other supported coin/token that is yet not directly compatible? Also, since the coins this way are stored on the Trezor and NOT Metamask, how come when I unplug my Trezor the coins are still showing up?! Is that normal? Finally, thank you very much for your videos. You are of a great help
thanks for the info, really helpful. if i want to recover the wallet after transferring tp the new trezor metanst address , how do i do that? would i need booth seedphrase of metamask or that for my trezor

very nice, so my theory was right, it doesnt matter if they support native 20 or 1000 or 1 milion tokens, if you connect to metamask you have acess to wateva you want, so i basicaly i can use any bep 20 token or any in the world! thank you

Nice video! Id love to see how to do this with CAKE and staking with Autocake. What is confusing here is that you chose an ETH address on your trezor for the BSC (BEP-20) BNB token. Thats normal? Your trezor is just being used as a proxy to approve transactions but your BNB is still on metamask correct? If so, can you do this to a Metamask wallet that already has BNB in it?
good question, I would like to know it too. So if I connect MetaMaskt to Trezor, than every crypto I send to MetaMaskt (for example CRO in cronos, ONE in harmony mainet) will be stored in Trezor? If yes that would be amazing becouse Trezor alone basicaly supports only BTC, ETH, ERC20 tokens.
