The reason it is difficult to speak to an agent is that it is expensive. Companies do not want people to leave automated processes or call support so easily.

Hi, How can i call multiple people on their cell phon from my website through Twilio and broadcast a message, i have their mobile numbers stored in a database and i want to use my laptop mic to connect and communicate with them in a conference?
Very interesting the case scenario with the United app. Because stangely enough I've had the same experience with the Uber apps, which have no instance or way to contact with an agent via phone number, so making a resolution for any issue is quite atrocious, you're at the expense of an e-mail doing the same thing, catching up with whatever the issue is.
why is this so technical.. my brother in india wants to have us based number and why would some one write xml and python code to make this happen ,,this is insane

Hi Im trying to understand how this works(iv recently understand what an API is, i guess..) so i have the twilio sms api (which is based on REST ,for example). i have an application (lets say written in pyhton), which is higher level of expressing what i want to do (send sms) . so, that application is communicating with communications system(network operator equipement) THROUGH the twilio API ? is that so ? and how exactle is the API communicating with operator (does it need to understand that API, and have same API interfejs on its side?) thanks, in advance

Apart from sending SMS, Can we store phone numbers in Twilio API ?

It is only for programatic phone number. For just a US phonenumber VOIP use Tmobile, Vonage, Magic Jack etc approx 29$/year
