Finished the entire “listen,” and was not disappointed with how the author pulled the story together for a surprising twist of an ending.

AM. A. ZING. BOOK. Stayed up till 3am listening to this the first day I started it. So good. Haven't found anything this good in awhile. Not too gory, completely spooky, completely suspenseful, completely twisted, tangled web that doesn't unravel until the very end. There's even a cat in it.🥰🥰😂😂😻😻 I need to find more by this author. Superb.

Ok, I am now at 6 hours; at times I have slogged along, nearly quitting but kept going since I found the conversations interesting.
If you do not care to read others’ conversing, this might not be for you. I do although I have to listen carefully for the storyline which does appear as the characters of each person begins to emerge. I enjoy this audiobook. The narrator is excellent.

It is hard to understand who so much of the story is talking about. It jumps from one lady to the next and nothing but babies

Listening carefully can be difficult but it does get easier to recognize the characters as the story progresses.

Conversational books are like this and can feel tedious , especially if you don’t care for the style.

Was he in foster care and eventually adopted??? It’s not clear. It is almost as if the author does not know the difference.

Every book i have listened to always has a woman or man who are rude, bossy and judgy people actually like them or at least want to please them. why do they like them or even care what that person thinks about them? I just don't get it.
