Oh my goodness! I have been looking for this pattern without knowing it….. let me explain. I have decided to crochet some bookmarks for my adult children as well as their children. Ideas for the grandbabies are plentiful, and I even have decided how I want to do my three sons’ bookmarks, but I needed something to joozsh up the ones for my three daughters. I have a really pretty, almost Victorian looking flower (think William Morris-esque) for the top, but wanted a repeated smaller motif for the bottom, and hadn’t found something that set my hair on fire until I saw this tutorial. YES! Oh Elena, you just made me the happiest Mama and I can’t wait to get back to civilization next month to go on a shopping spree for all my supplies! We live in a really remote town in the Canadian Arctic, so there are zero craft supplies here, but we have a trip south planned for four weeks from now. My daughters’ fave colours (in chronological order) are blue, burgundy, and green, and I plan on buying tonal cotton embroidery thread to work them up.

This is really beautiful, thank you so very much for sharing it with us. I am VERY slow and very new to crochet so I will will be going to Settings, then to Speed and then I can change the speed of the video to probably 0.50 for thisonebecausenot only am I verynew to crochet, but I also suffer with tremors that are the same as people who have Parkinsons disease. I also have another very rare disease that is like Multiple Sclerosis, so my head and heart say I'm going to learn to do this, but my body disagrees ... sometimes my head and heart win, and sometimes it's my body that wins, however I find that slowing the speed down very much, and stopping and starting the video at certain difficult parts, my head and heart have a much better opportunity to win! So I Recommend following using this method to anyone who is watching but isn't as familiar with crochet. This is a fabulous way to follow videos like this, but I recommend watching it at the Normal speed so that you can listen clearly to the instructions so that you can follow it more easily. 👍 I do this with all videos that I'm trying to follow something that is new to me.
