Strongest Barca side ever according to me and not only that they won they entertained all of us. Great tactical breakdown like always. Keep doing your thing.

He had many youngsters from La Masia like Sergio Busquets, Pedrito Rodriguez, Sergi Roberto, Thiago Alcantara and Gerard Pique. Also he had improved some great players tactically, technically, mentally and physically such as Leo Messi employed in a new forward position called falso nueve. Very good! I love that period of barcelona But there is one missing point that was nice. When the team had the ball, dani alves had a full right side to run and press the other team left wing. When that happend abidal went closer defensively and the team becomes 3 defenders (abidal-pique-puyol) while dani was going to the last third of the field to do his assists. as if it was a 3-4-3 Also Pedro was a fundamental part of the team as a player with the lowest quality he understood exactly his job, being a versatile forward for any kind of situation with the ideia of being always an auxiliar or a complement.
What I noticed this season, especially in the El Clasico 5 - 0 win, Barca played in attack with Abidal as the Left CB, Puyol, as the Central CB and Pique as the Right CB. -Villa would stay out wide in the left. Dani Alves would stay out wide in the right. -The midfield trio would stay the same but with Iniesta leaning a little bit more to the left than usual. -Pedro would be moving more into the Center in order to plant both opposition CB but would also be leaning to the right. -Messi, however would have a lot of freedom and would often make a Diamond with the midfield in order to have superiorites in numbers. These tactics would make the opposition almost impossible to counter because Barca would occupy almost the complete pitch. So the would always end up finding a way to to attack. Either through the wings and playing drive crosses or playing inside with the wingers stretching the opposition in order for Busquets, Iniesta, Xavi, and Messi to shine through the middle with they extraordinary tecnique, while having 3 players like Abidal, Puyol, Pique as players were very good with the ball but at defending, they were phenomenal with high line of defence very well organized. For me, this has been the best team that has ever played football, even though they didn't won the Copa del Rey.

Xavi palyed as partner central midfilder to Busquests and since messi was the false 9, he occupied the right half space alot more than xavi especially in the build up phase. It looke like a 4-4-2 with 2 false 9s(messi and iniesta)

2020 August 15 was end of era for this barcelona team which was once the pinnacle of football team and football masterclass. I think they're the best implementation of the false 9 of all time & that they definitely played the best football. However, some of the personnel in the squad could have been improved upon had Guardiola been more shrewd, at that time, in the transfer market & considering players in the academy. The squad could boast more graduates from La Masia such as getting rid of Abidal in his clear out the season before & never signing Adriano. Then resigning Alba & promoting Grimaldo, signing Iñigo Martinez and promoting Bartra to understudy & eventually succeed Puyol & Piqué, and lastly, signing Neymar & promoting Icardi to understudy & eventually succeed Suárez & Pedro. It is wishful thinking but imagine if Neymar & Suárez played under Guardiola!
I've always felt Barcelona had a lot of luck with how well Mascherano adapted to center-back. He was signed to offer an alternative to Busquets because the team had problems when he wasn't at top level. Instead he had to cover for Puyol in Pep's scheme of "one technical center-back, one physical center-back" being the perfect companion to Piqué. To the point he almost never played again as a defensive midfield at Barça while still playing that position with Argentina.
This team had players who alone can better 3-4 opponents at a time, but the manager made sure that they had only one opponent to face. Hence the possession, quick passing, best team of all time, and etc are just resuts...
Mecha Meister exactly...he likes being the main man. He was the main striker and played behind a poacher like Morata/costa... Messi too plays the exact same position ....so he doesn't fit.... And he is not a winger either
Things that Made Barca since 2009 to 2012 Great ? I'd say a Manager who knew them all Well . It'll be impossible to replicate that fate ever in football because of Many reasons . Pep knew Mostly guys from their Initial days ,he knew who's able to do what & what role they'll do perfectly. Tempo was in the hand of Iniesta , Xavi holdin the ball & Busquets breaking Press with a little this & that go breaking lines . Never needed defence that much as opponents used to defend from them even from the very first minute . Messi running a havoc in the middle & then infront of the goal . Manager trusted the players & players trusted him back . Barca's Positional play , technical elegance & passion made them the winners. Real Madrid at that time was as good as Barcelona in terms of players & at some parts even better . At the end of the day , it's not always the Manager who decides that game but players . Individual brilliance + a bit of luck can make you a winner . H.M - Zidane except 2016-17 .
The major reason was the presence of XAVI and INIESTA at their absolute peak. Busquets was icing on the cake and Messi was just Messi. But the underrated factor was Dani Alves. He completed Messi There would never be a partnership like that. It's not just about the goals and assists. It was about beauty of the one touch football they played
Atlast.......The IDEAL COMMENT. U NAILED IT MY MAN!!!!Dani Alves is the most underrated player in that team along with Busquets.Letting go of Dani Alves without a replacement killed Barca and now here we are
Surely to achieve what barca did with a team with less quality would be a lot harder as they had players like messi and xavi so this tactic could be harder to replicate with a team like brighton or west ham
Just think if Ter Stegen, Jordi Alba, Neymar n Suarez was in this team, even though David Villa had the best performance tht time but Neymar even as sub combining the way he n Messi actually did would be so deadly to even win the losing game. I can a hope for a 3rd Treble with this team.
The midfield trio iniesta busquets and xavi made the team successful because they kept possession within the team and messi was a goal threat for the opposition
Bro... Please make a video on Busquets's game reading... Surely he's one of the most underestimated players.. Just because of not having good goal scoring and assisting stats, he has been wiped out from the legend's lists.. So Please make a video on Busquets's game reading techniques...
How did they beat 5 midfield formations such as Mourinhos 4231? As the 4-5-1's three-person central midfield matches nicely against barcalonas as the wide midfielders of Di Maria and Ronaldo would have offered extra protection against the opponent's attacking wide options.

Pirlo said that if he got to work with Ronaldo, he would have the most assists, so I feel the these 2 geniuses got Messi and that completed the plan
Watching this is great especially after Valverde's era
The Midfield of Busquets, Xavi and Iniesta have a very phenomenal first Touch making them deadly
Definitely the greatest team the world has ever seen!🔥💯

DId you ever do a video on the 2008-2009 Barcelona side that won all 6 trophies that year?
Great video, man ✌. No doubt, Pep's Barca was a god-like side. I would say one of the top 5 best ever club teams, alongside: Ajax 95', Bayern 12'-13', Barca 14'-17', Real M 56'-60'. Thumbs up if you agree with that top 5 list
Sacchi’s Milan team
Where does this side rank amongst all club sides?

No doubt it was the greteast team in history
Referees make the Spanish teams special in UCL. First season of UCL with VAR and there were no Spanish teams in the final.
tied 1st with Hyenckes Bayern.
Football Made Simple thank u next do 2014/15 Barcelona msn
treble winning team
You guys have been dropping some amazing content. Much appreciated. Can you do a video on Barcelona vs United 2009 UCL final?
I've always felt Barcelona had a lot of luck with how well Mascherano adapted to center-back. He was signed to offer an alternative to Busquets because the team had problems when he wasn't at top level. Instead he had to cover for Puyol in Pep's scheme of "one technical center-back, one physical center-back" being the perfect companion to Piqué. To the point he almost never played again as a defensive midfield at Barça while still playing that position with Argentina.
the team that got me into football with the players ill never forget
This team had players who alone can better 3-4 opponents at a time, but the manager made sure that they had only one opponent to face. Hence the possession, quick passing, best team of all time, and etc are just resuts...
The king of football team💥
Miss those great old days. Pep please come back!
13/14 Atlético ..they were a few seconds away from a UCL title and won the league
Not close to barca.
@@iamcoolbro153 obviously nowhere near, but just suggested them hoping for a video on them
Can you talk about Antoine Griezmann? Ever since he came to barcelona he’s struggled to make any real impact
Brilliant idea!
He ist shit
He would make an impact if he actually play in his best position but that role already filled with messi. Barca with their genius signing yet again.
Mecha Meister exactly...he likes being the main man. He was the main striker and played behind a poacher like Morata/costa... Messi too plays the exact same position ....so he doesn't fit.... And he is not a winger either
They should consider putting him in a second striker sort of position
Top 3 teams of all time for me. Up there with the best. aC Milan of the 80s was the best in my opinion
Awesome video👌Xavi Iniesta and Messi were the perfect engine for this perfect tactical system
This Barcelona were nightmare to other teams😂😂😂
He completed Messi
There would never be a partnership like that.
It's not just about the goals and assists.
It was about beauty of the one touch football they played
Atlast.......The IDEAL COMMENT.
U NAILED IT MY MAN!!!!Dani Alves is the most underrated player in that team along with Busquets.Letting go of Dani Alves without a replacement killed Barca and now here we are
Also the influence of Carles Puyol. One of the greatest Captains I have seen.
Surely to achieve what barca did with a team with less quality would be a lot harder as they had players like messi and xavi so this tactic could be harder to replicate with a team like brighton or west ham
That's true. Pep (and most managers) admit without high quality players, high quality results are almost impossible
Great interpretation and briliantly showed
This team and the 2008/2009 Barca team are the best ever!
Well analyzed!
The way they played the game was incredible. The tiki taka football👌
That barcelona team nobody in the world could match up with them every team used to get scared of them
Next video about Barcelona tactics of season 2014-2015
Am gonna try this on football manager
Go for it mate

I turned Everton into world beaters , i just completed 2030- 2031 season and we won the treble
@@fortunepeter7285 soooo what are the details
Just think if Ter Stegen, Jordi Alba, Neymar n Suarez was in this team, even though David Villa had the best performance tht time but Neymar even as sub combining the way he n Messi actually did would be so deadly to even win the losing game. I can a hope for a 3rd Treble with this team.
Nothing quite like a spot of FMS to go with breakfast on a Saturday morning.
hope you enjoyed :)
@@FootballMadeSimple yes I did. Keep em comin'
The fact that Real Madrid did a bus parade after winning the Copa Del ray against this Barcelona team of 2011 just tells you how good this team was.
Νοt perhaps .. the greatest of all ever
the greatest thing about that Barcelona Team is Plyaer movements without the ball
Great video! You should do Barcelona 14/15 under Luis Enrique next.
This team was full of artists.
7:50 it's only possible if all three attackers are versatile and can play in any position forward
beautiful football
Do a vid on Zidane analysis as a player
yes very interesting Barcelona game that year
Without peer, THEEE GOAT team, full of GOATS. The biggest GOAT of them all though LA MASIA, LA CANTRERA.👐
They were United and understanding and the telaparty was really strong
Keep Up with the great work!!!
Busquets, Iniesta, Xavi and Messi.
Opposition: no thanks
How did they beat 5 midfield formations such as Mourinhos 4231? As the 4-5-1's three-person central midfield matches nicely against barcalonas as the wide midfielders of Di Maria and Ronaldo would have offered extra protection against the opponent's attacking wide options.
I believe it was la masia ....if Barca want another sensational team like this the academy will be needed
Please do a video on Ranieri’s 2015/16 Leicester
