I'm really enjoying Forever Skies; there's a bit of setup before you're really self-sufficient, but once you can wander around and explore at your leisure it is a lot of fun. You do have to follow the quests pretty closely if you want better tech, since story progression and tech progression are tightly linked, but the story quests are mostly "explore this new type of POI ", which is the fun part anyway. :) At 28:40, you missed a cool little detail: when you zap metal scaffolding, there's a chance the skyscraper it's attached to will collapse. This has no functional effect, but is fun to watch. :D One thing the tutorial tried to explain but I think you accidentally skipped by doing things out of order: one of the tabs in your PDA ("Studies") will list all blueprint scannables and new resources at each POI type once you discover that POI for the first time, and will mark whether you have scanned/collected each thing yet. So you can check to make sure you've discovered everything before leaving a new type of tower, to save backtracking.
Looks fun and interesting. Been on my wish list forever. So many games, so little time. I play vicariously through you, you seem to have way more time than normal humans. Not sure what kind of time machine you're running over there but share please 😉
Played this at launch was an interesting game. I decided to wait until 1.0. to play again, do to the lack of content. Hard to believe it's been a year and a half since I played. WTF was the power up of the tool? I have to say I have never seen anything like that in any survival game.
Haha, it's ahem the crank power? Like an old car? haha It's fun seeing the game from this side with no experience--it looks like it's shaping up nicely!

Cool! Thank you for telling me all of this! I am now excited to go further haha

I am really liking this one so far! Yes! So many games so little time indeed... I just don't sleep or eat--works great! haha
I definitely enjoy seeing you play the Game.
It's really neat! I'm looking forward to seeing more :D
Watched Surtr plays play this. It’s a highly interesting concept for a survival game. I only have a switch so I am hoping it comes to switch.
That would be great if it came to Switch! I am really enjoying this so far!
