- Pasonanca is the perfect place to go to for parkland and dining options. Hundreds of acres of green and trees and lots of restos to choose from. It's about 30 minutes in a tricycle from the Zamboanga City centre and well worth a little extra effort to get there.

My grandpa and uncle (grandpa's son) had a Boys Scout of the Philippines National Jamboree there in Pasonanca Park in 1961. My uncle was the Senior Patrol Leader for the province of Antique in Panay. My lolo was the Regional Scoutmaster of Western Visayas (Region 6).
