After a couple of years I developed the mindset that I can never pay in terms of money what I can learn from my teacher. If I observe closely what he does - not only in class, I get back so much more than I invested in regards to money.
Great podcast ....I started aikido at 50 and it bloody hurts but it has brought me so much ....and as Mike says I go with let's see what I do today mentality....each training session is a new start for me ....I have no end goal ...just the process

I am an English but have 19 years here in Mexico .My sensei is a direct student of Shihan Michael Moreno who was a student of 2nd Doshu .....He has helped me make Aikido a part of my daily life. I will be forever grateful for this. Thank you for your podcasts I thoroughly enjoy the discussions
