@@kennycastillo5313 i saw the podcast and i know he's sad, but his sadness was more due to someone who was in his life for nearly 40 years just stop living suddenly. he has many time expressed his frustration about his father on jknews and even admitted to being mean and rude to him due to their strain relationship. i know how bart feel because i'm pretty much in the same boat as him. i think you are overestimating their bonds.

He mentioned on the podcast that it was hard to get through since some of the videos they filmed were on the subject of death and suicide, and those were filmed before he told the crew what happened.

This sounds like KB HOMES!! I literally had the same experience with the same time line that Bart is saying. Started in November 21 supposed to close in April 22 and didn’t get keys til august 22 after going to war with KB HOMES. If I wasn’t at risk to lose so much money with my deposit I woulda went with another builder. I got my keys and gave them the worst review EVER. Keep in mind I bought the house in Southern California and was $500k. They gave me 2 coffee mugs and a key chain for buying with them lol

I went through a similar issue when purchasing a new construction home and the builder's preferred lender. They threw a bunch of red flags, essentially treating me like another easy bag of money and were super unprofessional. That alone convinced me to seek an outside lender. I'd imagine our transaction would've been like Bart's if we had stayed with the builder's lender. Also RIP to Bart's dad, you have my condolences 💞
