Fantastic job! Congratulations! I just moved back to western Oregon from the midwest, got a new used Foxpro coming, can't wait to load my Rainshadow calls on it and head out looking for cats! Beautiful lion!
I typically start with distress. Can be rabbit but in E Oregon I recommend ordering whitetail fawn distress from Joe Lewis. He can be reached on Facebook. He fills 2 tags every year in E Oregon facebook.com/joe.lewis.7792052?mibextid=9R9pXO
I double checked the HD version from my phone and that section at the 8:20 mark. HD clearly shows it is snow, sticks and roots and not another cat. The 480 version sure looks like a cat though!
Gig Harbor Washington here ,so why FEMALES,im just curious ,and are you eating them or skinning ,mounting,Northern California, DEL NORTE,redwoods there are cougars ,❤and they have the Brown Bears there ,with the Black, ppl say the Grizzlies arnt there anymore, They ARE ....🎉
Female because that is what came in to the call. I’d prefer to get a Tom. Yes, I packed it out whole then skinned it and processed the meat to eat. It is very good and is a lighter meat like pork. Also had a rug made from the hide and kept the skull as well.
Thanks for the info, you have given me a lot of good tips on how to hunt cougars.
First cat you ever saw was the one you hunted and harvested. Wow!Great hunting and congrats. Thanks for sharing.
Bellingham native here- hoping to follow suit this winter. fingers crossed
Same, I'm in B'ham and heading out this weekend.
With the snow coming this weekend it would be a great time to get out! Good luck!
@@coachteeter Lets hope. I've been out 4 time with no luck.
@@Darling_wanders I’ve been out a few times this season without any luck so far too. Time in the woods ups the odds every time out though. Good luck!
Great job tracking thanks for sharing your excellent video👍
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
Awesome man. I have called in tons of bobcats using the RS cougar sounds but still no cougar.
Keep on trying. It’ll happen!
