I'm not a Christian or even religious, but I feel this message deeply. I've been reading the Bible recently since I never did growing up. I think I'm still far from becoming a believer but I'm going to explore Christianity to its fullest. I see so much evil in the world and I see so much good in the church. I've always lived my life seeking truth no matter the cost. If there is truth in Christianity I have faith it will win me over in my exploration of it.
I’ll be praying that our Lord will guide you on that path to Him and once you find it you’ll wonder how you ever made it this far without Him, but in reality, He was always there just waiting with open arms! Remember, we are all given free will! God bless you and guide you. 🙏✝️👍.

My Parish in New York during the week mass attendance is about 5 😢 on Sunday its a lot better. I just changed to another Parish because it has more children for my kids to be involved with. Lord have mercy on us 🙏🏼

Excellent sermon Father ! The oddity for me is I accidentally found a sermon just like yours by a priest whose name is Fr. Mark Beard who spoke about " being on the fence" Unfortunately and recently Father died in a horrific auto accident and he was well loved but maybe not by his superiors . I happen to think there some hanky panky behind this accident because every time a courageous priest speaks he seems to disappear in one way or another .
Glad I found you. You and Father Mike Schmidt uplift me to God. I am going to try and return going back to church this Sunday. I suffer from anxiety and depression and am very uncomfortable around crouds of people, but I am going to try.
I cant go to mass because of my anti catholic family, mostly my husband orevents me from going. After 20nyrs from struggles, i have given up the fight. My heart is in the centre of the Father's heart, i will God willing keep my heart always close to Jesus and our Lady! Please pray for me! Love will conquer
Never give up. Crosses appear in various ways, and trials. We all have them, in some way or another. I will pray the rosary for your family's conversion, and your acceptance. into the church, and wonderful faith.
You should NEVER ALLOW ANYONE TO STOP YOU. Tell your Husband to "Get behind me, Satan!" and walk out and drive to the nearest Mass. There. Problem solved.
You are still part of the Catholic Church. God knows. He knows your will to be Catholic and so you are. Continue watching videos like these. Read the saints. Physical attendance of mass has decreased unfortunately but perhaps people turned online to hear mass instead. In addition, there are more non-Catholics joining the church through Catholic teachings on youtube, facebook, podcasts and vimeos etc. But nothing compares to physically encountering and receiving Christ during Mass.
I just stumbled upon this video and homily and my heart was filled with joy listening to a priest who is so in love with God, his faith, and his priesthood. God bless you, Father. Let's pray that all our hearts will be set on fire by the Holy Spirit so we may also be unafraid to share the treasure of our faith with others.

The Tridentine parish I used to belong to had around 500 parishioners. On Sunday that church was packed standing room only. The pastor hears confessions everyday for an hour or 90 minutes before he celebrated mass without fail. So many of the clergy aren’t even up to a third of their profession in I would say most of the churches in the United States.
A wonderful homily father, occasionally we do need to be reminded where our priorities are, and to place God first in our lives, despite the business, confusion and trials of this life. I suppose we all need to get back to the basics of Prayer, Penance and acts of charity.

At 74 years old I've been on board and now after 53 years of a Catholic Wedding, 4 sons , 16 grandkids there is nothing that COMPARES!

Prayer to St. Michael
St. Michael The Arcangel
Defend us in battle.
Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O prince of the heavenly hosts, by the Power of God.
Thrust into hell Satan, and all the evil spirits, who prowl about the world, seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
O glorious prince St. Michael, Chief and commander of the heavenly hosts, guardian of souls, vanquisher of rebel spirits, servant in the house of the Divine King and our admirable conductor, You who shine with excellence and superhuman virtue deliver us from all evil, who turn to you with confidence and enable us by your gracious protection, to serve God more and more faithfully everyday. 🙏🏻
The Tridentine parish I used to belong to had around 500 parishioners. On Sunday that church was packed standing room only. The pastor hears confessions everyday for an hour or 90 minutes before he celebrated mass without fail. So many of the clergy aren’t even up to a third of their profession in I would say most of the churches in the United States.

A wonderful homily father, occasionally we do need to be reminded where our priorities are, and to place God first in our lives, despite the business,
confusion and trials of this life. I suppose we all need to get back to the basics of Prayer, Penance and acts of charity.
