Check out "My Galactic Tale" from Neonlight. The Entire Album is a actual sci-fi story about a source of power being created by a Scientist and a Royal Government, only to be sabotaged secretly by a ruthless madman alien from unknown origins but runs a mega corporation of Research & Development, who then uses the opportunity to aid them in recreating it successfully, only to steal the tech for his own nefarious goals, which amplifies his newfound experimental creation; a Microbot nanite force that becomes an uncontrollable plague and causes it go out of control, that multiplies exponentially when that same power source is used to attempt to destroy them, unknowingly amplifying their reproduction by creating a singularity of near limitless power to feed off of, which leads to the Galaxy Stars being consumed, and the 3 main characters, the Scientist, the Captain of the Ship that held the original power experiment, and the Queen of the Royal Governnent, travel to the unknown regions of the Magellanic Cloud for Alien Pirate Aid, who happen to be the same race as the Unknown, to travel back to where it all started at the megalomaniac scientist's laboratory/corporation tower/homeworld, now the heart of the Microbot nanite swarm, to disrupt and render inert their galactic link by collapsing their original power source and reversing the singularity into a black hole.
@@Veselinius_III I made it sound "matter of fact" when I wrote this, but really its my own interpretation of the album. Who knows what Neonlights' true intentions were with the Album cover characters and the songs themes. But each song to me, at least 2/3rds of them (they get ambiguous towards the end of the album to me) point to "plots" in my imagination. When you start the Album, on the song Neon City, try to imagine zooming in on the Galaxy, then a Stellar/Solar System, followed by huge Capital ships around a planet, and see an enormous tower of light rising from the atmosphere of the planet as you zoom further into it as if on a ship entering atmosphere on Coruscant. And once you pass through the cloud cover, you realize that tower is a city of lights within itself, with spires upon spires and one main directing the corporate headquarters of that "mad scientist". You zoom into "the Captain's" ship that was docked, at an insignificant point on the huge city, but is now leaving this tower city of trade and shrewd business. He's leaving atmosphere and preparing to jump to a location where the secret new energy source is being tested. This is where the Mad scientist/CEO had agent(s) secretly board the ship to sabotage the new energy source so he could gain influence and control in its rebuild. Why thespian was here is up for your imagination, either here for random trade, or here to pick up related tech/components, or the main "good scientist". Up to you. And as you zoom back out of atmosphere and see ships jumping in the distance, you realize his ship is about to make the same jump. And as the beat builds, the engines are powering up, and when it drops, you jump to hyperspace. Gives me goosebumps every time I imagine it when I listen to that song.
Quit hating, the album is "the wrong room" you'll appreciate it if your audio setup is right (get a dac & headphones + buy the wav files from BSE at JUNOdownload)
