I remember getting a knock on my door one day and it was Rosalie. I live in domes and she had wanted to see them. It went from a stranger entering my home to a friend with a beautiful soul leaving. I told her when she needed a hug from a mom, she was welcomed to hug mine, lol, which my mom agreed to and then hugged her. Rosalie is an amazing person and loves everyone and everything. Any help you can give her will be so appreciated and you will be so blessed for knowing her.
Since Lowe’s is headquartered in Mooresville, NC, you would think their hearts would be moved to donate metal sheds to store these donations. Maybe they would be moved to donate chainsaws and other tools. ❤

The enormity of work needed to put this place in order is mind boggling. It takes so much courage for Rosalie to power through with such a positive and grateful heart. I got some unexpected money today and will be donating that to her.

People slept in tents all winter last year. They lined the bottom of tent with rugs. It did help. And put bales of hay around if possible. And a wind break can be put up maybe

I think the tents could be insulated with 4x8 sheets of blue foam board. A few 2x4s could brace the foam siding in pllace. Also heavy quilts on tent walls.
Also, poles could be placed and roofing going over the tent to give it a bit more longevity. Then a bit extra could be built over the doorway to stop rain and cold coming in and a place to sit on the warmer days.
The Appalachian Navy has LOTS of heaters, EVERYTHING a family needs for fighting the cold. Mind blowing amount. Amazon trucks 5 at a time (big trucks) loaded. So much they are having trouble storage. Please get in touch with those folks.
You can put sand bags around the bottom of tents,why not put up a big tent then let the people put their tents inside,they could sleep on cots would help with the cold, God is still on the throne, Jesus Christ loves you all,

I have some ideas that may help any living in tents. Insulate between the ground and tent. Layers of cardboard will work. Wind blockers around the exterior of the tent. Stack cases of water to make a wall. Cardboard can be used by using branches as fence posts on both sides of the cardboard. To make the cardboard last, put a layer of plastic. Empty feed bags can be used, ever notice they are similar to tarp material? With long and strong enough branches, a roof can be put into place. No rope? Use a knife to strip a water bottle into a long thin strip. Constructing a weather shelter around the tent. Leave the opening facing the direction the wind least likely blows. Layering insulation on the floor of the tent will also help.

I have been watching this channel almost since the beginning. My heart is broken for all I have seen that has happened. I see God's hand in this and the recovery that is happening. The people are wonderfully helping each other. I am retired and unable to help the way I feel I am needed. So, I am praying without ceasing. If God shows me another way to assist, I will be obedient. Churches should keep stock of yurts, they're not tents but can be put up and taken down, google "bedside commode) used with liners and pads. Send yurts, warm clothes, "bedside commodes" and wood stoves with co2 detectors. Food and water pets too.
thank you for this video an d thank Rosalee for her efforts to provide a place for shelters for the families as the gov reinforces their red tape to keep people from the donated small housing. This is huge. Many cannot go there to help with the actual work, but if many who can't afford much could help with a little money, it would add up and be a blessing to the families in need and the animals. I was thinking, as people and children arrived, hopefully they will be willing to also help with all the responsibility Rosalee is taking on. I personally think as Rosalee's petting zoo will be better than ever because of her generosity to others.

I'm in Yancey County ( Burnsville ) North Carolina . My county was destroyed . I'm heartbroken .. Our spirit still stands strong . I am praying for everybody involved in the devastating event .. I've never seen anything like it ! I am so thankful for all the help has come in . private organizations , individuals , FEMA has denied so many ,they are hopeless

This all looks great but it also looks overwhelming. I'm assuming the county mgmt has approved all this and all the building permits that is no doubt required. The needs are great for sure but the legistics are just as important and for one person, oh my! Hopefully your video will produce the manpower.
Solar lights would be really nice to for these people. Something they can leave outside during the day and use in their tents

Churches should keep stock of yurts, they're not tents but can be put up and taken down, google "bedside commode) used with liners and pads. Send yurts, warm clothes, "bedside commodes" and wood stoves with co2 detectors. Food and water pets too.

thank you for this video an d thank Rosalee for her efforts to provide a place for shelters for the families as the gov reinforces their red tape to keep people from the donated small housing. This is huge. Many cannot go there to help with the actual work, but if many who can't afford much could help with a little money, it would add up and be a blessing to the families in need and the animals. I was thinking, as people and children arrived, hopefully they will be willing to also help with all the responsibility Rosalee is taking on. I personally think as Rosalee's petting zoo will be better than ever because of her generosity to others.
