Can someone explain why this wasn't considered a tie for 1st as Kyle and Marten both had the same finishing time? I get that he broke the tape first, but times were the same 3:18.21. Thanks

yeah to be honest Marten won for sure. even though it was the same time his chest crossed the line 1st. just like in cycling or athletics.
