1. มดเป็นอะไรทำไมดูซึมอย่างนี้/mót bpen à-rai tam mai doo seum yàang née/
What’s happening? Why are you so inactive?
2. เพราะว่าฉันเหนื่อย/prór wâa chán nèuay/
Because I am tired
3. ทำไมเหนื่อยละ/tam mai nèuay lá/
Why are you tired?
4. เพราะว่าฉันทำงานหนัก/prór wâa chán tam ngaan nàk/
Because I work so hard
5. ทำไมต้องทำงานหนัก/tam mai dtông tam ngaan nàk/
Why do you have to work so hard?

Many thanks for this video! It demonstrated to me that my efforts at learning the words have worked as there was only one word I did not know. However, my problem is in correctly hearing and distinguishing them when they are spoken in natural speech.
It's quite difficult. However, I am afraid there is no shortcuts. The more you listen the better you will be. You can do it. Keep practicing! 😊
@@thailessonsbynew Oh, I understand exactly. I have been working on learning the language for two years. Yet, in these two years in which a friend has been providing me assistance and I have watched many drama videos subtitled in Thai, the Corona virus prevented me from getting out (I am nearly 70 and, at my age, catching the virus is almost a death sentence) so I could not practice in public. Even though I can get out now, the masks hinder learning. Your programs have helped me by providing a pedagogical approach which, when I started using videos, was basically lacking in others. So, between my friend, the drama videos, and especially your videos, I have made more progress in the last six months than I made in the prior year and one half. Many Thanks and Stay Well!!

Loool, waaat :D I started learning Thai via RUclips videos first time from kruu Mod! After having watched all her videos I found your channel. So that was a huge surprise to see her in your video lol. That's awesome :)! The Thai world is small. I actually have a Thai friend who recently posted a picture of her and her friend and her friend seemed very familiar to me somehow. And I reminded myself that I saw her friend in kruu Mods videos as well xD That's crazy. Kruu Mod knows everyone it seems.
My life goal now is someday have a coffee with both of you AT THE SAME TIME :P Coffee is on me!

Sabadiee New I manage to understand almost everything because I live and work in Laos and languages are very similar and of course I watch Thai TV, anyway for the first time you introduced GE that is mainly for women or if you address lady boy too right? I mean katoi. Besides that you never spoke about 'Ku' and 'Mn' that of course is not polite but it is largely used can you sometimes add also some slang, also the expression when addressing older people is PI sometimes also PIA that's I do not get it why Pia instead of PI? thanks

You can use แก gae with friends in any genders that you are very close
now i understand "pror" is the same with "pror waa". how do you say in thai "because of you"? "pror khun" or "pror waa khun" is possible? thank you.

Hi Kru New, I see that you use "tharm mai...doo...yang nee?". Can we use "Baep nee" instead of ""yang nee". What is the different between the 2 words? Thank u for your explanation in advance.
Actually in this case, you can say either one. It's interchangeable 😊

when Mot says work or money ... it sounds the same to me ... personally I say none for money and nyan for work ...but I'm no expert
😊 they both mid tone, the same initial and final consonants but different vowels. It could be difficult to hear
yes ... not easy esp when Thais talk fast or with emotion ... but when you repeated in the follow up explanation, I can clearly hear the difference @@thailessonsbynew
