Yes. And they were able to get what's called "Browns Field Credits" on the homes built there. That gives all buyers of the homes a 70% discount on their property taxes. That saves new home owners THOUSANDS of DOLLARS ANNUALLY, for the first 10 years. Then it goes back to 100% tax.

Baltimore officials seem to have finally come around to investing not only in infrastructure, but in the people.
