I make these alot at home, I use Bacardi Gold, a dash of Rum on the strawberries is nice as well, I prefer it like this and not a slushy.
Steve, The baseball bat in your hand as a muddle looks like its the perfect size for you.
I've had that muddler for donkey's years! I love it!
This sounds good right next to the beach. Also we didn't see you spill any of that dark rum......👀
I don’t know what you’re talking about 😂
You should get you a hand blender it would fit in your shaker and purée the strawberries perfectly
Beautiful 😍
Thank you! Cheers!
A strawberry reduction with added sugar (in lieu of simple syrup) might make this less milky/more bright
I'm getting anxiety seeing that huge muddler pummeling in that fragile glass.
Haha, I know... when I watched the edited version I was like "why the hell did I muddle it in the glass!?" 😂
He used his baseball bat to muddle. Amazing . Lol
Dude that muddler looks like a baseball bat! How good is a huge muddler! 🤘🏼
How much lime juice did you add, or how much do you recommend adding?
I squeezed a little short of half a lime... so approximately 10ml or 1/3 oz.
If you swap the daiquiri for a rum runner, you get a “pain in the ass”.
What if I don’t have an unsharpened giant novelty pencil muddle my strawberries?!? Jk looks delicious.
Nice one Steve. In Las Vegas we probably sell 10,000 of these in one summer weekend from frozen drink machines. This shaken version sounds like a great upgrade.
Damn! That's a lot of Miami Vice cocktails! Great use of a slushie machine though..
Now that’s a muddler…
i have a problem with blending ice in my blender, doesn’t give me a slushy consistency for some reason so ill give this a try sometime.
Do you add ice cubes? If so, try adding crushed ice instead so it's easier on the blender.
Add 1oz of Malibu too
If you swap the fresh home squeezed pineapple for a good store bought pineapple juice, you will NOT taste the difference.
It's actually a blend of store bought and fresh.... I made a bunch of cocktails with pineapple juice so was worth the extra effort.
Way too sweet.
How much strawberry purée would u recommend instead of the muddling?
It depends how sweet it is... about 30-45ml but remove the simple syrup from the recipe.
Steve you're the true drink master! BUTT I'm not a fan of muddling in the glass. Especially a thin glass
Thawed out frozen strawberries from the supermarket work very well
Is there a major difference in angostura bitters or peychauds aromatic cocktail bitters? I just got my first few bottles of bitters and I'm trying to upgrade my cocktail game with it but I don't really know the difference between them
I'm here cuz of the taste of G Fuel Miami Nights flavor
Can anyone please tell me if i can replace fresh pineapple juice with pineapple syrup?
If yes, how much should I use for this drink?
This reminds me of a Lava Flow, bartender would put strawberry puree in a hurricane glass and pour a blended Pina colada on top
Be sure to add 15-20ml of lime juice. Nice cocktail.
Your drinks are delicious & you are delicious 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Ahhh shucks! :)
Go steve!
STEVE!!!!!! Kat saved you twice in a row!! This looks easier to make and delish, but the first version looks awesome and I would think would have a little more flavor. Great videos!! CHEERS!!!!
She did - I'd be lost without her..
YESSSSS!!! I'm number 4!!!
You have to be quicker Tim! Haha, you were about number 15!!
