A comment from Australia: just put one of these in my boat and your video was very clear and very useful and so thank you.

I just noticed another comment which I believe I can answer. The sensor itself is very flexible but needs to be mounted away from magnetic influences. It doesn’t have to point in any particular direction and that is why it needs to be calibrated as the video shows.

Is the steady cast supposed to be mounted flat and or can it be mounted vertically. Does it matter?

I'm wanting to buy this for my kayak. Will I be able to calibrate it? The max I can go is like 5mph on it

Do you need a heading sensor with the ultra 126sv's?

Where are the sensors best mounted? I have a pontoon.
