7:15 I really like your explanation of "Japanese Chinese food." It's unsurprising that a cultural phenomenon like that would occur: we've had "American Chinese food" for decades (like General Tso's Chicken).

i think tantanmen may be a japanese style version of dam dam mien 擔擔面 which is the cantonese name for it… like i think the japanese based tantanmen off of dam dam mien but then they modified the recipe by adding more soup when the original recipe is supposed to be kind of dry with a more sauce like texture so probably your chinese friends say that it’s a fusion dish because it’s not a completely faithful adaptation of dam dam mien…
I can't help you with Chinese, but if you got a question about Norwegian or maybe Swedish I usually can, 😅...hope everything is ok and that it's fun being a model.
