I’m 71 years old and have always wished to have the education that you have and take courses that you teach. Thank you so much for posting this on Utube. I also love jackets - summer and winter fabrics.

This is fantastic! I have a nice fabric I bought in NYC garment district that would be perfect for your techniques. Can’t wait to make a jacket. I, too am a “natural fabric snob.” I love this. Just subscribed to your channel. Thank you 😊

No fringe. I think that jacket looks better without.

Love your vids. AND... if one wants to search youtube for the bodytype GAMINE.. it may be enlightening in terms of those horizontal lines. The original look with some verticals and even more horizontals is PERFECT for a gamine bodytype style. Gamines are, in short, pixie like.. they have a mixture soft and angular features and bone structure, and hey are small ish people but mixed lines work BEST for them. They don't look right in the classic all vertical classical style nor do they look best in a bland monochromatic ensemble from top to bottom as do other body types. It's more complicated than this but broadly you could almost say that tall people look best when they play up their tallness, and short pixie like people even when overweight actually looks best when they go ahead and embrace and highlight their shortness with a mixture of quirky details, small elements like small or no ruffles, small trims like piping, but also lots of vertical elements mixed with some diagonals and or verticals but NOT primarily vertical lines. . It's a very interesting study .. I think Peggy is more of a classic type so that is why she likes the classic styling but with a little flair.. they may say she is a flamboyant classic type but im not sure. Anyway....there are many different types and gone are the days when EVERYONE needs to try to look tall and classic. GAMINE styling is really the opposite of classic but it can still be classy and project a lot of personality. Check it out!! I'm so glad I did. I would look much much better in the original style and now i can see that so well. Peggy indeed would look best in the revised style that she naturally prefers.

Does fusing 100% cotton prevent it from wrinkling?
