In polish we have: biblioteca - biblioteka fábrica - fabryka conservantes - konserwanty preservativos - prezerwatywy concurso - konkurs realizar - realizować with exactly the same as spanish meaning :-)
Hola Patry! Another false friend example could be the English word Apprehend, and the Spanish verb Aprender. One means to stop or arrest, and one means to learn.
my spanish teacher in school did an entire lesson giving us lists of these and I loved it, it was genuinely really helpful also led to some funny stories, particularly involving the word embarazada

2:35 it's actually easier for me, as a german, as the english word, because here it also means "aktuell", so "currently" or "nowadays" 5:18 here as well....but I'd say in german both is possible. You could say "Ich habe soeben realisiert, dass ich etwas an meinem Verhalten ändern muss"*1 but you could also say "Ich habe es endlich geschafft meinen Traum zu realisieren!"*2 *1 In english: I just realized that I need to change something about my behavior En español: Me acabo de dar cuenta de que necesito cambiar algo en mi comportamiento *2 In English: I finally managed to realize my dream En español: Finalmente logré realizar mi sueño But as it seems the english one can also be translated both ways I guess....at least I can't think of another word that would describe the 2nd meaning of "realizing" any better....maybe smth like "to put smth into action" 8:12 in german "Fabrik" 11:12 in german we have the same dilemma 😂 sensitive is "sensibel" and sensible is "vernünftig" (sensato)
Technically atender and realizar kind of make sense to me. Atender meaning to look after could be rephrased as “to attend to”. Less common, probably a bit formal or old fashioned, but kind of makes sense. Same with realizar meaning to fulfil, since you could say “to have a dream fulfilled” or “to have a dream realised” and they mean the same thing. Again, less common, but definitely makes the meaning of the word easier to remember
"Argumento" can actually be translated to argument. For example: Su argumento se basaba en hechos. - His argument was based on facts." I thought the English word "plot" translates to "tama" so I would say "Me encanta la trama". Correct me if I'm wrong here.

¿Has pensado en abrir un diccionario? Embarazado existe, y al igual que embarazada también significa embarrased, de hecho la palabra embarrassed es de origen español, y llegó al inglés después de pasar por el italiano y el francés. Embarazado significa estar atado y no poder moverte con soltura, bien porque estás preñada, bien por vergüenza.
