Thank you for this review you did awesome. I just finished this book and it was so slow to get there. I feel like putting more of Ben's story out, possibly more to the murder she committed and to the coming home of her son would have made it much more readable vs spending so much time building the story too many details in the beginning. It could have even begun as her as a child and built the entire 2nd story into the beginning bringing her into why and now if her looking for her son being sleep deprived and desperate for answers all while thinking she possibly could have done this because of her passed before letting us know it was her mother and that Ben has a type. Idk I didn't hate the book but your definitely right in I wouldn't recommend it or read it again. The beginning just wasn't worth that exciting and short ending point.

Started this book and did not like the flashbacks. Great review.
