I came here because of Dangerous Romance. I didn't know Marc and Pawin had a series before and even as a main couple! I really like their chemistry, they fit so well together. I hope they're get another series because this one was sweet and dealt with some real topics and issues, but it could've been executed better. I wonder what these two can do when you give them a high level script with high level directors and producers, please make it happen!

Final review: I actually really liked this series. Surprisingly I didn’t find the slowness of it boring because real life love stories are like this. It’s very realistic.

No parent want their children to be gay for sure it hurts before judging we should try to understand both sides include parent side they have their goal to their children when it can not be atleast we should give them time to process
When Pai started crying so did I, parents always pressure their kids when it comes to study, my mom said the line that his dad said “don’t disappoint me/us” and honestly that sentence broke me because I’m already going through a lot with my mental health. Parents need to understand that the happiness of their kids comes before studies.

True- parents have such a lasting impression on their kids and how they feel about themselves. I’m a grown assed adult, and the strongest memory I have of my father is that not long before he died, he just quietly said “you’re a good daughter” it was so nice to hear that.

At least the parents tried to understand their son in the end and made things better. Even seeking professional help. Better than some of the parents in other series where they are just never brought up again and were there just to add to the drama and let the couple overcome adversities to strengthen their relationship.
I agree. I love that they asked for advise off a professional. It shows that they really wanted to learn what was the best thing to do and not just what they thought was the best thing.

@@mydna8372 I think the lack of the title in English is not helping either. I just followed a Swedish channel, and I noticed that once she had switched her titles to English, her numbers massively increased, so I think an English title makes it easier for people to find things.

I really liked how they openly talked about std, cancer and also the fact that this is the first time I’ve seen the parents going to a psychologist trying to understand their son. This bl should have way more audience that the actual views it have.
A really important message about safe sex. The psychologist was a first. And so important.
I see the film makers were trying to be socially aware. Un demonstrated love for himself by stressing the no trespassing zone to Pure after the doctor visit.
Funny bit though was the verbal and written warning on screen when the 12th graders went to a bar. Film makers weren’t accepting any liability with younger audiences! Lol. But there were no such warnings when the college freshman did the very same thing, although it was barely 1 year later. 😆👍
I also found it really nice that this series has an openly bi character and that Pure is shorter even though he is the top. I think this show did well in making things realistic.

When Pai cried in bedroom and then dinner table i completely lost it. 😭😭😭. I love when an actor can get a strong reaction out of me. This is up there with my fave BL: Until We Meet Again, Tharn and Type break up, History 3:Make Our Days Count and History 4: Lichen saving Teng. These young men are very talented to be able to pull such a strong reaction out of me. 😭💔❤❤ Bravo!!

...forgiveness
...promiscuity and the real potential effects
...coming out to family and acceptance
BL is moving into a new era where:
- The reality of sometimes there is no set "top" or "bottom"
- Not rushing into a sexual relationship is okay
- STDs are real
- Coming out is only a courtesy and accepting yourself is most important
- Incest is not wincest
- *CONSENT* is the name of the game
- You can have a darker, more serious story and make it good
- Cheating isn't the only problem in a relationship
- Not everyone is gay and people are just people
in one of the first episodes this show had the trouble of sleeping around without any protection in it for example aids and hiv
- Illnesses like cancer
- The loss of a loved one
- The use of protection
... I loved this series
some messages still feel very outdated for me tho :(
- "if you sleep aroung you WILL get stds and won't find love" (contradicting what we learned from waan)
- "if your parents can't accept you... hey, have you try talking to them?"
@@cortaditas There are some parents that won't accept you completely like Folk's parents, or other like Pai's parents that will try to comprehend you and that is the true , not every show is perfect and I agree that some messages are not the best, but it is a different culture

They're highly intelligent doctors and suddenly finding they have a gay son who is also going to be a doctor is not something they were prepared for, so as the owner of a hospital, what could be more natural than to ask a resident child psychologist for his perspective and advice.

I was beyond happy for them seeking professional help because we don’t get to see enough of this in bls. At least now we get to see the other side of what could happened ☺️

My respect for Folk is huge. I'm so happy he said what he did.....no person wants to hear that while you're screwing someone else you were thinking of them.
His character was level headed and very lead worthy. I hope one day to see him in a lead role because the actor (sorry don’t know his name) did a great job.

As someone who teaches Sex and Queer education the whole Pure storyline makes me really happy. And talking about safer sex is so important. Pure’s character is rly great
One of my favorite things about this series is how they normalize getting tested. I wish they didn’t use the word “clean” to describe testing negative. But it’s a small complaint in the grand scheme of how awesome that story arch was. 🥰
I loved each of the main characters. My moan is Pai being such a whimp! - but I accept that in Thai culture respect for parents is very strong. Iff I had to mark one of the actors it has to be ITT!! His acting is 2nd to none. His mannerisms, vocal & eye contact brilliant.
Thoroughly enjoyed the series. I have the names of the participants so that I can follow them individually.
It’s a series I will deffo want to see again!

I’m glad the parents looked for professional help. It’s true quiet kids might look ok in the outside but they sometimes are more stressed because they keep quiet. I’m happy Itt took initiative. Someone just needed a little push.

this series has so many layers, the fact they didn't rush anything just going with flow and build their relationship in realistic way, trying to solve their problems, pawin and marc chemistry was so amazing to see, how they use non verbal language to speak up their character's emotions it was heartwarming never saw anyone talking about this bl and for sure deserves more people watching and appreciating this storyline and not mention the fact the give their own screen time for the other characters as well i really love it pure and folk, waan and beau their dynamic with the main couple was so good

Having Pai break down and cry in front of his was powerful. They finally saw their son was not perfect and his silent acceptance of everything did not mean he was happy. them seeking help just showed their love for him and their willingness to make him happy.
P.S. This noodles restaurant place must be really good because they been talking about it the whole series. LOL

I’m glad his parents had the presence of mind to immediately consult a doctor with psychiatric/psychological background. Although they were well-meaning and very much loved Pai, they truly had no idea the kind of pressure they were putting on him. As an only child with an extremely sheltered upbringing, the weight of all their aspirations and expectations bore heavily on him. I saw him breaking down at the dinner table and all I could think was “yes, baby, I’ve been there”. This was a great finale to the season. I’m happy to have been able to watch it.
Oh my goodness when he started crying I burst into tears, that was such a emotional scene.
It must have been the first time he cried in front of them. He never did complain or act whiny or act up when they didn't had time for him. He was the perfect son. The one time he did was indeed a startling scene for the parents. The perfect son breaking infront of them.

This was a bit sad but beautiful! Pai crying in front of his parents was so touching! I'm glad that his parents came around as soon as they realised that their son was under a lot of stress!

I will agree on this. The BL series before this was also good, in fact its becomes Phenomenal. But the acting on this series is way better than the past series.

Esta serie es muy buena👌🏻 nunca había escuchado de esta serie y cuando youtube me la recomendó no me llamó tanto la atención el verla, cuando le di una oportunidad al inicio no tenía ninguna expectativa pero ahora que terminé de verla puedo decir que superó mis expectativas, me encantó que la historia tenga personajes con partes buenas y partes malas, que cada uno tenga sus problemas pero aún así no vivan ensimismados en ello y tengan momentos felices también, que al principio cada uno de los personajes hayan tenido sus prejuicios y conflictos entre sí pero que con el tiempo hayan desaparecido hasta formar una relación sincera y cercana entre ellos, que todos hayan evolucionado, porque eso es exactamente lo que los hace reales. Esta serie no posee escenas dramáticas y surrealistas para que los personajes se enamoren, simplemente se enamoraron por los pequeños momentos compartidos o por una atracción inicial, que es como pasa en la realidad. Definitivamente esta serie merece mucho más reconocimiento 👏🏻

I love how open Pai's face on his date with Itt. Such a difference from how closed off it was for most of the series. Such a small but important acting decision that tells you so much about the character.

My father also didn't expect so much the fact that I have girlfriend, he never talked with me about it, in fact he don't really talk a lot 🤐 but as long is polite to her I'm fine with that and I do not really care. Pai's crying made me cry too 😭 Sure some of the sounds sounded a little funny but to me it sounded like such a genuine cry rather than an average fake cry.
The true feels ugly cry when you're in too pain to care about anything else. It was a great scene. Yes, made me cry too. I even felt for the bewildered parents (a bit).

It's been a year now that this series was aired... Seeing the opening scene where Pai's dad says "we want to see your success not your problems" really touched me... Why are some parents really so careless about their children's happiness and feelings but keep on insisting on their children to rather care for their (parent's) happiness and feelings... That's exactly what my parents did when they found out my sexuality too. They threw it under the rug like it didnt happen expecting me to change. The difference is my parents still didnt ask an expert to explain to them when I cried the same way, even harder, while Pai's parents already did when he cried at the table.
