You two young men are doing great artifacts hunting, it was my passion for many years until a stroke stopped me from hunting, but by that time I have over 8,000 complete artifacts and my house is surrounded by the wife's flower beds that I have filled up with broken arrowheads keep up the hunt my friends , and keep bringing us the videos of your awesome finds
Man, you're really good at IDing them points right away. You study to Overstreet books or something? lol. When picking around with the screwdriver, were you still creekside or digging in a field? Always interested in how folks who dig, find the spots to dig. Great finds! Thanks for sharing!
@@tennesseevalleyrelics3459 oh believe me 🤣🤣🤣 I’m brown when I’m done. I have dug I wanna say a good 1000 or more lbs of dirt in my entire career. Thanks for the advice and encouragement.
I live up here in Ohio and started looking for artifacts two years ago during the COVID lockdown, after walking miles and miles in field after field I have not found anything like what you guys find in Tennessee
We have the right conditions as well huge amounts of erosion in a sandy soil and sandstone as the bottoms of alot of places that just hold those points in place
Are those creek or river finds? If you don't mind, would you tell me the approximate area you're finding these points. I'm in the process of writing a book sorta like a Overstreet. I wouldn't ever come hunt your site. Just needing information for my book. Thanks.
@@tennesseevalleyrelics3459 cool man thanks for the reply..I got some killer spots on the TN River near Chattanooga..I got a question brother..uh..I've got some different feedback on this from various sources and they all differ but is it illegal to surface hunt on the TN River and can I sift on the TN River??..any input will be greatly appreciated and helpful..good luck and happy huntin brother
If it doesnt have "Tri-color" "Delineating" lines.....i.e. red jasper with either white or yellow, married with black (ideally) or grey sanwiched together, it IS NOT True "HORSECREEK" You must understand something...... These points made from this mythical and intriguing material are VERY RARE. Lots of variants. But the True Horsecreek points are what I just described. It must have a clear combination of all those attributes. Otherwise, just a pretty color amalguration.
@@tennesseevalleyrelics3459 dang nice point my friend don't have that type here in Arkansas y'all have some beautiful point types there and good size ones to I'm lucky to find one in a year over four inches. Liked the video
So, I am from Dickson, TN. If you are hurting the Harpeth, you have likely heard of my home town. I got lucky and made a ton of money managing some of the best law firms in America. Your grammar sucks. The word broke means you don’t have any money. The proper term for a point that isn’t complete is broken. PLEASE start using the correct term. I got lucky and married a beautiful woman from Miami and her mother helped teach me proper grammar. Please keep producing great videos.
Thanks for telling us about all your good fortune and making a ton of money managing some of the most crooked people. Why don't you save pointing the shit end of the stick elsewhere. One could argue that proper grammar varies greatly depending on which region you live in. But shucks, what do I know, I'm just an Alabama boy. The last time I checked this aint English class. And I think I speak for everybody when we say keep your opinion to yourself but you're not about the artifacts being filmed. You being from Dickson Tennessee, you sure didn't learn your manners. Anyway great hunt guys! Loves yalls videos
@@dananderson128 Nope... You're just being disrespectful for no reason. Somebody's got to call you out on your bullshit. I'm sure we all would definitely appreciate that
Don’t worry. You won’t ever hear from me again. Sorry you can’t take some constructive criticism. Have a great day and continued good luck finding great artifacts.
