It’s always nice when the esthetician keeps talking all the way through the session! The information they share is very interesting and they sound very soothing and relaxing. I’d love to try out this treatment!
Yes I agree! Especially if they have a soothing a voice because I find that that's the ASMR part of these videos, otherwise it's like I'm watching a normal video and I'm unable to get tingles - which is sometimes the case with some of Twix's uploads unfortunately, but that's just my preference! 🤷🏽♀️
Yeah I love the talking in most videos, sometimes it feels like I'm there and getting a massage too lol
@@DinaLaraki I wouldn't worry too much, I'm sure every video has a handful of viewers that aren't a fan of the voice, everyone has a type of voice that they just don't like.
It's the exact opposite for me. The talking kind of ruins it for me. I don't mind ambient noise in the background, but it's the visual that does it for me. But that's just me. Everyone's asmr triggers are different. I find it interesting what triggers other people's asmr.🙂
@@jodyt9737 absolutely! I think I can enjoy the visuals too if it's daytime and I'm just watching to relax, but I usually watch ASMR at night and the light really hurts my eyes so I put the phone away and the talking helps me sleep haha :)
In the US, Veteran Affairs has something called battlefield acupuncture where they do acupuncture on different parts of your ears depending on what part of the body is in pain. I use to get this done quite frequently. It hurts while getting it done but you get a bit of euphoric feeling afterwards and it relieves pain. It looks like this lady is essentially doing the same thing but without the needles. I would definitely recommend this alternative for pain management over pain pills any day.

It's called placebo effect. It can work but not always. It also works with homeopathy and stones. It's always the placebo effect.

Normally when studying Japanese, I don't have patience to keep listening to the same audio over and over to build comprehension, but I watch the same ASMR all the time, so this is great!

I recently had to have emergency surgery and after I wasn't approved for meds right away so I pressed spots on my ears like I saw in this video and it actually helped me with pain somewhat until I was able to get medication!! Thanks so much for posting this!

@@ejsafara456actually, the only benefit to ear acupressure that has somewhat good evidence based on studies is helping with chronic pain, no proof for any of the other benefits she mentions tho. and dont hate on placebos, if it helps you, it helps you, and as long as theres no crazy claims of curing cancer or growing back a limb theres no harm no foul

The only benefits of acupuncture are the placebo effect and the relaxing moment it gives. I respect this culture but everything this woman says is false, they are beliefs, not facts

I witnessed several ppl who had difficulty walking due to back pain or leg problems, but after an hour of ear acupressure, they got up and walked straight. It's so amazing. I had arm problems and was healed during that one session.❤

I don't usually post here, but I want to say thank you for these videos and for this one in particular. Nodding of one's head is another example of the graciousness of the people of Japan. I applaud you.
I’ve noticed in several videos (I’m new to the channel), the therapist and TWIX will say “please take care of me” I’m curious as to what’s the cultural context behind the phrase. As in the west it’s more of “we hope you enjoy” or something along those lines.

Hi. You said your back is stiff and you get neck pain. Have someone like a physiotherapist or good masseur check your back muscles for over tightness. Sometimes it only takes a few specific stretches to clear a long time problem.

@@berthavillalobos8163 most chiropractic treatment does very little. Those cracking sessions are completely pointless. Unless they are manipulating trapped tissue into a better position your body will be exactly as it was within a few hours. Your are better off with a manipulative physio, or just an experienced sports masseur. In my opinion, of course.
