1. Ramganga- originate in dudhatoli in Uttrakhand, passes through Jim Corbett National park and then enters UP to join Ganga.
2. Gomti- originate in gomat taal in pilibhit district, flows further through lucknow, and then joined river Sai and joined ganga.
3. Ghaghra- originate in Himalayan range of Tibet, enters UP then joined Sharda ( originate in Tibet) , flows through Ayodhya then join Ganga in bihar.
4. Gandak- originate in Nihubani himal Glacier, and flows as kali river and enter UP as gandak, flows through borders of UP and bihar, and joins River Ganga near Sonepur.
5. Kosi river- originate in Nepal, and enters Bihar to join ganga.( Called as Sorrow of Bihar because it brings flood in bihar)
