Convinced me to get one. Thank you for the review
I've been using this coin wallet for 4 years in pant front pocket and it is still in good shape. I carry emergency key to the apartment electronic lock in the coin pocket without worrying a fall out. It is a bit expensive but worth it. Used coins but they are disappearing fast due to credit cards and/or electronic pay in South Korea who is becoming cashless society.

I have the black one and it’s my favourite wallet.. I store my daily tablets in the small inside side pocket (supposed for cash) so I just have to carry my phone and wallet when I go out anywhere. I’ve been using for a number of years now.

I've been using the Apex 2.0 by Mastermind Collective for the past couple of years. I was looking for a minimalist wallet that gives super quick access to cards. It has a hole in the front that lets you slide the front and back cards out very easily. I picked the Apex 2.0 because I always hated fumbling through my wallet to get my debit card out, especially in the drive-thru. It's a hair bigger than a standard credit card, making it a truly minimalist wallet. Funnily, that's the thing that I don't like about it. You can pretty much only carry cards with it, as sticking bills in between the cards negates the smooth card drawing action from the wallet. When I go to replace my wallet, which is now sooner than I thought, I will definitely give Bellroy wallets a look, if for nothing else, that awesome owl that sits perched on the front. I love owls. :)
Wow I just looked up the Apex 2.0 and you’re right - that is the true minimalist wallet, but I can definitely see the shortcomings that you mentioned, but it definitely does look slick! It does seem like a neat concept though, would be perfect for these current times when we aren’t using cash too much anyways. :) And for sure, the owl is a nice and unique touch. Let me know if you have any questions! I love talking wallets and exploring whatever else is out there, heard a lot of nice things about Trayvax wallets and heard the Ridge wallet is pretty neat too.

I used mine in Japan too. Very handy for the coins. Although I found that bank notes and receipts can get caught in the zipper if overloaded. Quite embarrassing if you are about to pay :-)

For sure! I’ve had that happen to me a few times too so I’ve always resorted to putting those things into the pocket. And glad to hear you’re enjoying yours as well! How’s the black leather holding up for you?
@@SwitchIntoTurbo Still going strong thanks. I have three bellroy wallets including this one. I believe this is "dressed leather" hence its very resistant to general wear and tear. The "note sleeve" on the other hand is very soft and patinas alot quicker, picking up every single scratch and scuff. Which is fine, all adds to the character.

For some reason didn’t see the notification for your response! But you do make a good point about the dressed leather - it definitely seems a lot more durable and shinier in luster as well. The Hide & Seek wallet that I purchased for my dad is more of a dull texture and is behaving similar to what you’re describing for your Note Sleeve as well. Card Pocket for the win! Maybe I’ll pick up another one in Black leather to dress it up. 😂

Inside pockets are cumbersome and not good,
