Beautiful, beautiful places, some fantastic freakin' points and a bunch of very happy guys-- what more could anybody ask for in a pointhunting video? Y'all are making me homesick; I'm from a slightly more southern area (NW Florida), but the streams look a lot like what I used to tromp through around a gorgeous waterway called Econfina Creek. There's not much rock in Florida, so points were usually made from trade stone, but I remember finding them. Happy hunting, guys, and thanks for the video!
Thank you so much for the great comment. If ever we need a testimonial this comment will be it. I couldn't have said it better myself. Thanks again and GL&HH.
Thanks and you are right. They don't all come easy. The weather is not the best for sure. The positive side is all the rain is washing more stuff into the creeks.
Your videos have inspired me to spend hours in freezing cold water in WA state where there was probably a 1000’ glacier over when the native Americans were making the majority of the Clovis points you’re finding lol! Obviously haven’t found a single artifact, but still have fun pretending!
I enjoyed the video very much, you guys are the real deal and love what you do. Let Scott know that I've been checking his channel out and really enjoy them. I think it's great to see all of you guys together having such a great time, that's what it's all about. Keep it up and pull out one for me. Mark Martin Defuniak Springs
Mark Martin thanks Mark I really appreciate that. Randy and Spike are great friends that I've had the pleasure to hunt and find points with. keep watching my friend
Good job guys. Looks like fun. I'm getting ready to hit some northern Indiana creeks next year. One suggestion and don't mean to offend but the music at the start doesn't sound like native American which would be cool with the video. Just find some screaming Chickasaws!!!!
Hey guys, love your videos. Never a boring moment. I gotta question for ya, im originaly from arkansas and knew where to go to find points.. but now im stationed in southern california. No idea where to look around here, any ideas?
Thanks for watching and for the question. The same rules apply no matter where you are. Look for high ground just out of the flood palin and close to water. I hope this helps.
We're not familiar with the Birmingham area but there are artifacts everywhere. Creeks with hard bottoms and high banks make for a great place to start looking. Good luck and happy hunting.
@@HeartbreakerRelics totally trust you just curious why high banks and hard bottoms. Hard bottoms I understand but just trying to get some knowledge. Great video
@@dirtlegchaser2424 Good question. High banks because they needed a place out of the flood plain. There needs to be a spot or preferably a number of spots where they could live without fear of getting flooded. The hard bottom just because it's easier to hunt. We're still learning though. We hunted a creek this past weekend with a lot of sand and the bottoms weren't hard, at least in most spots. There have been several great points come out of that creek and we found more. The point is, I don't think I would have given that creek a second look had it not been for the folks that invited us finding points in there the past several months. Don't be afraid to experiment. What we've been doing the past four years isn't gospel. It's just a starting point. Good luck!
Omg amazing editing and photography, that area is so beautiful...it reeks of time gone by😊 I'm happy for you guys...great hunt thanks for taking me along with you guys❤️ and as usual awesome points...so pretty
Come on now man. Don't be so hard on us. I told you, for our area these are good points. Besides you put what you want in your cases and we'll put what we want in ours.

So jealous, wanted to hunt arrow heads my whole life and I end up in Southern California, the boringest place in the world, and no arrowheads. So Jealous.
Thanks for watching and for the comment. I would have thought Southern California would have been loaded with arrowheads. You have my sympathy. It is a fantastic hobby.
Thanks for the question. These points were made long before any of the historical tribes we know today. Please watch this video. It explains it all. ruclips.net/video/0YqDLkw7zEQ/видео.html
Thanks! We have hunted some rock shelters up that way somewhere but I don't even remember the name of the closest town. It was beautiful and we had a blast but didn't find anything.
We do bring small goggles. In fact Randy found a point with them last year in this video ruclips.net/video/1Wd3m6fC-1M/видео.html You probably saw it already though. Thanks for the comment too. We appreciate it.
Thanks. This is one of the few videos where we had the girls with us. These are my great nieces and I guess they have other interests now. Enjoy this hunt with the girls. ruclips.net/video/8ea6UyONmyo/видео.html

Awesome points, looks like the were hard won.. Looks like bad weather headed all over down there stay safe and dry!
Thanks and you are right. They don't all come easy. The weather is not the best for sure. The positive side is all the rain is washing more stuff into the creeks.
