Dang now i see where i've been going wrong all this time, all i've been doing is try to pull it from the back had no clue u had to take the keyboard off first.

Ugh, just when the fix one issue I had with taking these laptops apart, they mess something else up! The G2's had a super easy keyboard removal, but you also had to take the entire thing apart just to get to the screen. The G3's have a super easy screen removal, but you have to nearly destroy the keyboard to take it out!

Quite useful, thanks. The keyboard really is a pain in the back to take out.
What brain-damaged design it is too, with the replacement of the CMOS battery requiring the motherboard to be taken out 😛

Hello, I have the same laptop as the one in the video and I want to replace its screen with a new one because it has areas with dead pixels. Do you know if I can put a screen with a higher resolution (1080p), because I found a screen on the internet, it said it was compatible with my laptop. I said ok, let's buy it when it came home, after - I installed it, it didn't work (the screen was almost off) and to top it off, there was a strong light behind the display .If I give you the code on the back of the display, can you tell me which screen they are compatible with?Thank you in advance !
